John Marshall is the equivalent of D2 in Ohio. They can’t say Trimble has a week schedule this year with John Marshal Fort Fry and Vinton County on there now

I believe the rumor came from a recent TVC meeting. With their enrollment numbers it actually does make sense for them to be in the Hocking size wise, and all sports besides football competition wise

Strong hunch (no facts, just feeling based on things I've heard from reliable sources) says NY will be in the Hocking within 3 years if, IF, the TVC does not expand to 3 divisions before then

Saw on another site (ovathletics) that Trimble picked up John Marshall for an away game week 5.
Any truth to this?

I don't think it's that big changes need to happen before they move...it's if big changes DONT happen (3 division split) then NY will move to the hocking rather than staying in the current Ohio. NY will be in a different division within 3 years, whether it's a new 3 division league or they bump down to the hocking. One of the two are happening in the next 3 years or so

I personally think the TVC needs to do some reconstruction in the divisions.

What is the reason that NY would move? Is it because of other schools leaving the TVC, NY doesn't compete will in other sport, just what is it? I don't follow NY outside of football and track and they do well in those in the Division they are in now.

NY has no reason to move. In other sports should they move down? Probably but when it comes to Football NY belongs in the Ohio. It’s a playoff point machine, specially now that the playoffs have expanded to 12. Unfortunately. It’s the same conversation that pops up every offseason.

How many you guys return this year?

If I can remember correctly we had about 15 seniors last year but still return a good group. Carter, Stalder, Williams, Justice, Inman, Levering, Wilt, Martin and Loge are all the ones I can think of off the top of my head that came back next year that contributed last year. I’m sure I’m forgetting some on the line. Have a pretty talented Jr. High class coming up as well.
