2021 Wheelersburg Pirates

Caught the 7v7 against Fairland last night.

A few big plays by each team, which is typical in a 7v7. I liked the way the pirates covered for the most part forcing the QB to hold the ball on multiple occasions. Fairland looked to have some athletes with some speed as well. Burg QB looks fairly solid. A couple errant throws but accurate for the most part, especially on the run. Overall I think it was a pretty good showing by the Pirates.

With Kentucky passing the bill for Seniors to be eligible for another season, could this possibly be done so by Ohio as well? Maybe the much talked about return by Jake Gregg could come true...

darn. This demographic is just hateful as hell. Hey burg fans, tell me you feel a way about Ironton jerking away the spotlight without tellin me ya feel a way about Ironton jerkin away the spotlight. You characters are mad at the world. Mad at kids cause they have choices and opinions. Lol. I'm thinking maybe the game is passing you by down there just like the world is. lol. This sh*t is a shame. Lol. Ya'll are just lil babies. I had another b in mind but I figured ya know writing it like people really talk it is probably gonna be frowned upon. You're THAT salty over one kids exercise of his options and right to determine his own destiny? Lol. Awful lotta you down in that region that are awfully ( and incorrectly) boisterous about freedumbs these days to feel that way. Its not like educated and trained health officials are asking you to do a simple and seemless task to help ensure health & safety.

Personally, I thought the "Jake Gregg experience" was pretty positive. The kid had a very nice season (121-176 completions/attempts, 1369 yards, 15 TD, 4 INT). He helped lead the team to a 7-2 record, with the two losses being by 4 points combined. Plus, he always played hard and had a strong desire to win.

What part of Burg are you speaking from?? Jake Gregg instantly came in and fit right In with not just football but being a Wheelersburg Pirate in general. He had more desire to win for the Burg than half the athletes that have been attending Burg their whole life

Last year’s QB came in and did a great job considering all that went on. He took a calculated risk moving for fear of his senior season being cancelled. He came in and won the job and did some nice things. He liked burg a lot and tried to get a normal season in by petitioning another season. He wasn’t the only one in the state. He’s a
Good kid and will do fine in his next adventure.
