Re: WK 5: Warren (2-2) @ Fort Frye (4-0)
Ff more than likely will be without 2 starting lb. Both went down with ankles, hoping they'll be ready to go week 6. Shouldn't need them this game, but never good to have injuries

Jason Williams is a really good player. Like to see how he does vs Fort Frye.

I got Fort Frye by several scores. I hope I’m wrong, but we’re too young right now to beat a team this used to winning. We’re on the right trajectory as a program, and this game will be a good building block for our young guys. I hope we continue to play Fort Frye because it could be a great series for Washington County.

A talented, but young Warrior team gets to see where they want to be in two years.

I watched Warren vs River they looked really good on offense. Don’t think they’ll stop Fort Frye on offense though. Fort Frye is also banged up.

If we move Williams around like we did this week, he’s a problem for anybody. This will be his first legitimate test against a really good opponent. We need to keep possession of the ball and not let our defense be on the field the whole game.

Williams is a good player but I don’t think he’s as good as Jordan Martin for Zanesville. Martin had some success ended the night with 74 yards.beg003 wrote: Sat Sep 11, 2021 12:30 pm If we move Williams around like we did this week, he’s a problem for anybody. Fort could be without 2 LBs though.

Fort Frye players became men last night. The way they moved the ball in the second half after being shutdown in first half was impressive. Over 250 yards on the ground I the 2nd half the Cadets line dominated. Rb Owen Brown had 187 yards and 2 Tds.

I’m sure FF will be prepared for him, they’re too well coached not too. But, you’d better not let him get loose because he’s not going down 1 on 1 in the open field. Too fast and his balance is elite. Looking forward to seeing how he matches up.EasternDspy wrote: Sat Sep 11, 2021 1:22 pmWilliams is a good player but I don’t think he’s as good as Jordan Martin for Zanesville. Re: WK 5: Warren (2-2) @ Fort Frye (4-0)
Last fall Warren coach made some comments after the warren fort game saying “fort may not been the better team, just was better tonight” comments like this likely stuck with the cadets. Fort by 50.

Warren is. Not going to be FF in 2 years. Not close at allefarns wrote: Sat Sep 11, 2021 9:39 am A talented, but young Warrior team gets to see where they want to be in two years.
Re: WK 5: Warren (2-2) @ Fort Frye (4-0)
And no one said we would be. Nobody goes from an up and coming program to Fort Frye’s level in 2 years. It’s impossible. It takes sustained success for an extended period of time. It’s taken FF, what, 13 or 14 years to reach this point?
Re: WK 5: Warren (2-2) @ Fort Frye (4-0)
Context: Warren's team is led by a group of sophomores? They have two years to become as good as they're going to be. I would hope they WANT to become as good as Fort Frye is now.beg003 wrote: Sat Sep 11, 2021 9:59 pmAnd no one said we would be. Pretty nice facility isn’t it? Still can’t believe how good it turned out.
