Re: Week 5 Cancellations
i am hearing Waverly declined on a team yesterday. so i doubt if they would take a opponent today. i dont know if it is true but one day to prepare would not be long.Kicker. wrote: Wed Sep 15, 2021 1:58 pmWhoever it is and still wants to play definitely needs to call up WaverlyBeergogglebluez wrote: Wed Sep 15, 2021 1:09 pm Rumor I’m getting is gallia vs Portsmouth is cancelled. I don’t think Portsmouth wants any part of Waverly. Scrimmage was pretty one sided.

LetsBeReal doesnt get it. Pike county is the covid dirty butt capitol of Ohio currently.
Re: Week 5 Cancellations
So the health department cancelled the game because of an outbreak of covid on the team or at the school?
Re: Week 5 Cancellations
Portsmouth at Waverly Friday at 7:00
They scrimmaged this year one week before week 1 so both teams need less time to prepare.
Wish it was Saturday to give an extra day and the turn out from around the area would be HUGE!

Lol these are men here talking. Quit avoiding losses and we will let you back to the table.
Tell your cousin(WCH) to stop blaming others for their own Covid while you are at it.

OHSAA expanded playoffs to 16 teams, basically saying if you have a pulse you make the playoffs, and yet we have coaches and teams being cowards and avoiding playing games versus teams that might actually test their mettle. What are you teaching your players, only take the field if you think it's an easy win? Another example of society becoming as soft as Rite Aid cotton.

Redmen by 4 scores. Unless the hill have another off night like they did against Portsmouth.
