That's great advice your coach gave you there.

Agreed sir! It's time for Big M to go. Not only was this a bad hire but look at the current principal too. Belpre use to be the backbone of the TVC in most sports with the best facilities. Now they are the laughing stock.

Even though I am a Warrior forever, I could not agree more. Something has to change down there with the Eagles.chrishilton91 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 06, 2021 11:20 amAgreed sir! It's time for Big M to go. Back in the day Belpre was considered by some as the class of he TVC. Now they're the armpit of the TVC Hocking.chrishilton91 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 06, 2021 11:20 amAgreed sir! It's time for Big M to go. Belpre was perennially good in football from the 70s through the mid 90s and their run in basketball in the mid 90s and early 2000s is as good a 10 year run of any school in SEO outside of Portsmouth in their prime. 2 Final Fours and a State Runner-Up, with multiple regional appearances. The vast majority of those athletes left Belpre and now they are the shell of a school we see today.Pitstop Billy wrote: ↑Wed Oct 06, 2021 12:48 pmBack in the day Belpre was considered by some as the class of he TVC. This very good list is for the games since Belpre moved to the Hocking. Add to this list...Jason Vorhees wrote: ↑Sat Oct 02, 2021 8:56 pm Trimble Holds a 19-12 series lead on Belpre. Here’s the recent scores since 2010:
2010: Trimble 60 Belpre 7
2011: Trimble 54 Belpre 0
2012: Trimble 54 Belpre 0
2013: Trimble 54 Belpre 0
2014: Trimble 57 Belpre 0
2015: Trimble 34 Belpre 0
2016: Trimble 49 Belpre 6
2017: Trimble 44 Belpre 7
2018: Trimble 35 Belpre 0
2019: Trimble 46 Belpre 0
2020: Trimble 41 Belpre 0
2008: Trimble 52 Belpre 25 Non-conference game
2007: Trimble 26 Belpre 10 Non-conference game.
This hasn't been a competitive series since 2007. Prior to that year it was.
The records that I have collected on Belpre football show Trimble, as we know it now, leading the series 19-11. From what I can gather the current configuration of Trimble Tomcats started in 1978 but I may be totally wrong.
If any folks with the knowledge of the merging of these schools into the current Trimble and the years, I would greatly appreciate their input.
I have...
Belpre 1-0 vs Glouster (1965)
Belpre 10-0 vs Jacksonville-Trimble (1950-1959)
Belpre 2-0 vs Trimble Local (1960, 1962)
Belpre 11-19 vs Trimble (1978 - 2020)
I am still compiling records so this may not be 100% correct.

Belpre dressed 17 the other night. I have seen us dress only 13 for a game this year.
Our kids play very hard. Due to low numbers, injuries and in game injuries, I have seen us play several downs in several different games with only 10 players.
Our kids have heart and I root for them to be successful in spite of the odds.
Sadly, this years game will mirror what we have seen for the past decade.
Good luck and good health to both teams.
As always...LETS GO EAGLES!!!

1964 Trimble was formed. My parents graduated from Trimble in 1965. Their senior year was the first year of the new school.Mister Bee wrote: ↑Wed Oct 06, 2021 9:15 pmThis very good list is for the games since Belpre moved to the Hocking. #3 for sure.
Not only is she one of the smartest people I have met, she is also one of the hardest working I have come across. I mean, life disrupting type work ethic. Almost obsessive, which is not a terrible thing, especially for the employer. People like that are rare, definitely in this day and age.

Good news is that Big M is up for re-election (and two others). This is a chance to get him and Little W of the school board.

I have known Big Big M for years and his biggest fan had always been himself. !!! GO BIG M!!!

I agree 100%. Ms Evans, in my opinion, was very good in everything that she did at Belpre, teaching, coaching, administration and as AD. If the BOE wants to go around her and award coaching positions outside of her recommendations then they need to makeup team schedules, get the refs, make sure bussing is available for the teams, see that the various fields are prepped for game night etc, etc, etc. The list is endless.93Bulldog wrote: ↑Wed Oct 06, 2021 10:55 pm#3 for sure.

The SouthEastern Ohio District Athletic Board certainly saw something in her to award her a spot on their board.
