This will be ugly the first playoff weekend. Glad those last 6-7 that got in get a trophy. Happy for everyone who got in , but this is a Joke. Good luck to everyone going forward 👍🙏

I love it I guarantee atleast one double digit team will win. All these teams play vastly different schedules let’s decide it on the field.

Yeah. Couple good games Most will be running clocks. I know hope is eternal, but the first 2 rounds will be ugly. Root for your team, but get ready for winter sports soon. Good luck 🍀

I’ll never complain about more football. Another week for teams to learn and build. Fort Frye made the playoffs in 2012 played Kirtland got smoked. That game that environment made more kids want to come out and be apart of the program. Team you are in week 1 not the team you are in week 11. Look at a team like Fredericktown they are 5-5 but just beat Centerburg tonight. Let’s play these games on the field.

Yeah I get all that. We’re all helmet heads who root for our teams. This is HS football. Many of these teams have been done since week 7-8. Now they get to play one more week and many get beat by 40. This isn’t college football. Let ‘em move on to their winter sports if they survive next weeks beat down. 🙏

Exactly, now of course West Jefferson is a BEAR….but. Valleys losses came to teams with a combined record of 43-15 all in the top 10 of Region 19, and 1 in the top 5 of Region 16, they played ZERO D6 teams and 1 D7 team.

I’m not saying they’d win, but these kids playing D-6/7 teams and you’re looking at an 8-2 ball club at worst.

It used to be that just making the playoffs was a major accomishment. So now "we're a playoff team" doesn't mean a whole lot.

But it does provide more teams with something to play for in weeks 8-11, so it may turn out to be a great thing for some of those teams.

Also, some regions are a lot deeper than Region 23. 9-12 seeds in some regions might be talented teams that figured out how to win late, but are ready to cause some damage.

Coal Grove played Shenandoah first round last year at their place.

Barnesville plays OVC football. Coal Grove can play with them.

After comparing stadiums I think Buckeye Trail will be in for a culture shock when they head to Fairland.

Unless they have a new stadium there not much difference between the 2 fields fairland has way better seating for the home side and not much difference on the visitors side

From photos it looks like Buckeye Trail plays on grass as well.
Maybe both teams can keep their footing in this one and we get a good game and not a bunch of excuses like after the portsmouth game?
