Barnesville will run the ball at will like they have all year and play a style of ball similar to Ironton at a smaller level. Coal Grove lost that one 48-0. We will see if Coal Grove is ready to see 8 o-lineman and an all-conference tall back. Strap em up!

Re: region 23 after week 8 playoff projections
Coach Kearns has pulled off upsets before and doesn't care about any of this. Also, Fairland better tape their ankles as they are notorious for spraining them on purpose at the bottom of piles. Coached that way.2trap_4ever wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 10:44 am After comparing stadiums I think Buckeye Trail will be in for a culture shock when they head to Fairland.

Yes I’m pretty sure they have a grass field also.Thats why I didn’t understand the culture shock commentDragonsbreath12 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 4:41 pmFrom photos it looks like Buckeye Trail plays on grass as well.Ovc1988 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 12:11 pmUnless they have a new stadium there not much difference between the 2 fields fairland has way better seating for the home side and not much difference on the visitors side2trap_4ever wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 10:44 am After comparing stadiums I think Buckeye Trail will be in for a culture shock when they head to Fairland.
Maybe both teams can keep their footing in this one and we get a good game and not a bunch of excuses like after the portsmouth game?

Not sure why you’re taking offense to me saying that you “play OVC football” It’s not a knock.washingtoncountywiz wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 6:39 pmBarnesville will run the ball at will like they have all year and play a style of ball similar to Ironton at a smaller level. We’ve had plenty of success playing teams from your area recently. (Shenandoah in ‘17 & ‘20) We won both games, I think we will be fine. I watched Shadyside beat you guys by 21 on YouTube but you play Ironton football huh? Barnesville has beat 2 teams with a winning record, not sure why you’re bragging. You guys are the 4 seed and we’re the 13. You’re the favorites on paper. Good luck.

Be interesting if anyone can give Fort Frye a full game in the region

I hate to tell you but Barnesville is no where near the team Ironton is Ironton would name there score against them alsowashingtoncountywiz wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 6:39 pmBarnesville will run the ball at will like they have all year and play a style of ball similar to Ironton at a smaller level. I was checking loudonville because I remembered they had that really impressive freshman RB LAST year and thought they could maybe give someone a game but I have now figured out he is at West Holmes 10-0 division 3 region 10 I’d say he did the right thing for sure
no competition don't gotta compete, I'm already winning this isn't defeat

I love idiots like yourself that can’t come up with anything else to say about your football team so you have to be a grammar teacher. Where did I say Barnesville would beat Ironton? I said they had a similar offensive attack. A smaller town and team. A microcosm of Ironton. I still think the Rocks win by 15 points. Don't see it happening. Maybe Fairland. If it happens again this year would hope it would be better game than last yearRaider6309 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 1:00 am Be interesting if anyone can give Fort Frye a full game in the region

Ironton and Fairland was close because Carpenter was out. Ironton is a different team without him.Ovc1988 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 8:52 amI hate to tell you but Barnesville is no where near the team Ironton is Ironton would name there score against them alsowashingtoncountywiz wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 6:39 pmBarnesville will run the ball at will like they have all year and play a style of ball similar to Ironton at a smaller level. Barnesville played Fort way tougher last year than Fairland.

West Jefferson is the team that has best chance to stop Fort Frye IMO.
Re: region 23 after week 8 playoff projections
And like I said there is no comparison to Barnesville and Ironton. Carpenter is one of the best qb’s in south east Ohio with probably the biggest and strongest line in south east Ohio not to mention Keyes,Wilson and Howard in the backfieldwashingtoncountywiz wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 8:45 pmWhere did I say Barnesville would beat Ironton?
