Hate much?Calvin wrote: ↑Mon Aug 15, 2022 12:14 pmI took in the Eastern scrimmage and they are planning put one on Thimble this year. The new coach has them believing. That would be devastating to Thimblie's program to go 0-4 or 0-5 to start the season and then lose to a Hocking opponent too.Run baby run wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 9:11 pmI think they will do better than most people think in those first 5 games. Trimble kids aren't used to losing and they expect to win no matter what.Calvin wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 10:57 am
I know you want them to do well, but from the word on the street this could be a rough start for Thimble. If NY beats them down like many are saying they will could that lead to an 0-4 start? When's the last time Thimble was 0-4 to start the season? Yes we all know they will most likely walk through the Hocking, but losing 4 or 5 games will be devastating to the Thimble faithful I would think. Especially since they are used to naming the score on most of their opponents.

Hoping the Cats can pull one off week one. Seems like high hopes at this point, but it’s a rivalry. Anything can happen!

I think just because we graduated a lot. Super young team this year. NY returned a lot from last year that went 7-3, so they definitely have the upper hand.

Picking NY at home but wouldn't be surprised to see the Cats pull it out.
Good luck and good health to both teams.

A lot of people are down on Trimble due to only having a couple seniors and being very young. Trimble has a great tradition and a great weight room program, Nelsonville should be favored, but a Tomcat win would not surprise me

Trimble has to get out of the TVC Hocking if they want to build this program.

Are there any tailgates or pep rallies happening before Friday's game?
Re: Wk 1: Trimble @ Nelsonville-York
So why exactly should they leave the hocking if they start 0-4. And how exactly have they not built a program? You act as if they've never had success in the playoffs. Don't forget Trimble has played in a game that we've yet to makeEasternDspy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 6:30 pmWell decent chance they start 0-4 this year.dilligaf wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 5:20 pmEasternDspy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 4:28 pm Trimble has to get out of the TVC Hocking if they want to build this program.

There’s no doubt in my mind FF is going to have their shot real soon, if not this year. Their program has been doing nothing but growing. You’re exactly right, there’s no real reason to leave the Hocking when Trimble has made two state championship appearances in the last ten years. I think they have made the right adjustments to build the program by scheduling up.Ff3233 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 8:03 pmSo why exactly should they leave the hocking if they start 0-4. Heard from a buddy at Athens that Nelsonville QB is out. This could be huge in this game if so. From what I've been told and read on here he is a huge part of the offense.

Well, that's a lot different. I'm taking NY huge then if that's the case. Trimble will play hard but doubt that they can catch the QB or his receivers.
