2-1 as a starter. Lone loss against a team led by probably the best coach GA had since Saunders or Boko. I don't think Joe started as a frosh.

Also is Gallia that good or is Meigs that bad?

It would be great to have Joe Burrows come help the pups. We had several players come back years after we almost won the championship and it paid off in years of good Racine basketball. Maybe Burrows could do the same. But for now there is no chances Athens wins game 2.

Idk if Meigs is bad, just young, they have some size, but GA is small, fast and has more experience. GA made a lot of mistakes from what I heard also

Meigs was bad all-around Friday. They might have some size, but very sloooooooooooooow.

Athens better watch out because GA didn't run anything we thought they were going to. If they want some information they need to pm me.

Gonna go on a limb here and say Joe is gonna be a tad bit busy for the next several years but I like the optimism. Gallia rolls by at least 2 scores here.

The only way Joe could help them is to suit up and play. They just don't have the Jimmies and Joes that they had when Joe played, and though some people claimed that offense was the reason they were so good it's obvious that it was the players making it go. No different than any other offense is.

Meigs may be young & in no disrespect towards the kids but they may win only 3 games this year if lucky. Many people would consider that bad.

Meigs players aren't slow, they have tons of speed but their head coach is Sloooooooooooow if you understand what i'm saying. You Can't hand the ball off straight up the middle to an 130 pound running back who runs a 4.5 40 yard dash fifty times a game, He's gotta learn to air the ball out and trust his quarter back/receivers. You also can't change the corner backs and safeties assignments every 5 seconds of the game causing them to get confused.

yes gallia ran the ball well but anyone who watched the game can say that meigs corners were getting crossed all night long which is what killed the marauders, meigs straight up needs a new head coach as simple as that, anyone who has been watching since tennant took the helm can tell you that.
