Re: Ironton@Jackson Week 2
If coach Hall would have aired it out in the second half and Winters would have thrown a pick 6 the same critics would have been saying he should have kept the ball on the ground to eat the clock up. Bottom line is the kids have to take care of the ball. That was the game changer to determine this game. But you win as a team and you lose as a team, no finger pointing in a true team

He must have went back to his old RH playbookThe Regulator wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 10:25 amIf coach Hall would have aired it out in the second half and Winters would have thrown a pick 6 the same critics would have been saying he should have kept the ball on the ground to eat the clock up. Once Ironton started spying and blitzing Winters in the 2nd half, Jackson got timid. You do realize Jackson literally fumbled the win away right. Nothing timid about Jackson. I will say Perkins is legit . Who else is supposed to be d1 ?THEEE_GAME wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 11:30 amOnce Ironton started spying and blitzing Winters in the 2nd half, Jackson got timid. Maybe Trevor Carter who had 17 tackles, 2 for a loss, forced 2 of your fumbles and recovered 1? Maybe? Ask your running backs this morning, I’d say they will confirm. Ironton also had the ball inside your 20 three times and came away with nothing. Both teams caught breaks and had bad breaks. The better team won.Ironmen98 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 11:50 amYou do realize Jackson literally fumbled the win away right. Nothing timid about Jackson. I will say Perkins is legit . Yeah I get it , just posters saying goofy things, I don’t think Ironton was better . He heard play calls that were runs. Still don’t know why Jackson went away from it.

Somebody woke up extra salty. You got beat. End of the day Ironton executed during winning time and Jackson didn't.

Is the Freshman backup kicker a ISJ kid ?ohbuckeye2 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 10:22 amI told everyone, we were going to be fine, you can’t judge by one kick to begin the season against your biggest rival and her first ever attempt in a game. She’s got an excellent leg, and does a great job. You should watch her and David the Freshman backup kicker, both are very good.
Re: Ironton@Jackson Week 2
The more talented team clearly won. Did the most complete team (discipline, organization, cohesiveness) win ? That's certainly questionable. Superior talent oftentimes allows a team to overcome other shortcomings. If Ironton can put all aspects together that make up a championship team they should win it all. If not, they'll eventually lose to a team with inferior talent.

Who is hating ? I know a young man by that name who is about the age who had attended ISJ. Fine young man I just wondered if that was him.THEEE_GAME wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 12:43 pmTheFlyingDutchman wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 12:21 pmIs the Freshman backup kicker a ISJ kid ?ohbuckeye2 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 10:22 am
