No reason to not think F F will win , a schools enrollment is not necessarily a deterrent. Zville is really not a football power .

Last year they were huge. Had big Rb and a really fast Qb and Speed back. Zanesville lead 13-6 at half but Cadets won 26-13. Zanesville lost all those guys and it’s head coach. I doubt Zanesville has played many games at places like Beverly lol.Bunker Hill wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 1:41 pm No reason to not think F F will win , a schools enrollment is not necessarily a deterrent. These days, I consider a team pretty good if they can avoid a running clock.Bunker Hill wrote: ↑Sun Aug 28, 2022 1:41 pm No reason to not think F F will win , a schools enrollment is not necessarily a deterrent. Zville is really not a football power .
Middling Zanesville, several divisions higher than Fort Frye, is still way better than middling teams in our own division. Who could they play within an hour who could give them a better game?

Zanesville is a big school compared to FF.

Rooting for and expecting a win by Washington County rival Cadets in this matchup.
Good luck and good health to both teams.

Good luck Cadets in your upcoming game with Zanesville. Let's hope for an injury free game for both teams.

I love calpreps, but they're not too accurate until about week 4/5. However I think Fort wins rather easily in this one

That’s pretty much what the score was last year. Cadets seem to be better and Blue Devils lost a ton and it’s coach.

Up until a couple years ago, my calpreps experience was:Bagger Vance wrote: ↑Tue Aug 30, 2022 11:47 amI love calpreps, but they're not too accurate until about week 4/5. However I think Fort wins rather easily in this one
random internet fan: The Hustlin' Huskies r gonna whup Fort Frye by 19, because you play Waterford and Frontier, so we're gonna win!
Cadet fans: "Have you ever even seen Fort Frye? I've never seen your team, but Calpreps has Fort Frye winning by two td's. "
Random internet fan: OH, the ol' calpreps site! Har Har! Why even bother to play? Har Har har!
Then they play the game and Calpreps' prediction is within 5 points, and the person I was talking to turns into a ghost.
Zanesville isn't a highly touted program on their level, but if they were in Region 23 don't you think they'd be a top-3 program? I think we'd be talking about them like Regional finalist material.

I agree Zanesville is still one of the best teams Fort Frye plays.

Grew up in the area, moved out of state and am headed home this weekend to visit my folks. Very excited to check out this game! I've been following the happenings of local HS football since I left and am eager to see FF play. Rooting for them to bring this one home!

Ridgewood scrimmaged Zanesville in a half. Wood won the half 20-0 and Wood took a knee on 5 yd line going in for a score with 18 seconds left. Wood isnt what they have been last 4-5 years. Zanesville is not a very good football team. Cadets by whatever they want in this one.

There aren't any Zanesville fans on the site, and The Blue Devils aren't getting interest from casual fans. People trolling Cadet threads have more or less disappeared.
