I believe Kirtland has closed borders; their CB is 0. As for moving in, Kirtland is not a low rent district. Doubt they get many move-ins; very rare at best.

Massillon Washington has a reputation for drawing the better players in that area and sometimes outside the area.

In 2014, Tri-Valley beat Massillon Washington in a JV game with TV having a number of freshmen. In 2017 TV was state runner up in Division 3. If you have a talented group of younger players, you need to challenge them. Kudos for any schools doing that.

My point is people are delusional if they think a school only has kids in the district. If so that’s awesome but I highly doubt any school that goes 10-0 every year doesn’t have people move in. They wanna play for that school as well. I’m not a tiger fan I’m a Portsmouth fan but that stuff goes on even if CB balance is zero.

I agree that successful programs usually attract kids from outside the district. Winning breeds Winning!

I initially responded because district size, enrollment and population density are all factors of success.
