Just watched the video wow, guy should be fired immediately.
Re: Vinton County 20 - 21 Nelsonville-York 2022
The video hadn’t been posted. Last week, people tried to accuse VC of doing something without proof, thus it being a legitimate question.buckeyes05 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 15, 2022 6:37 pm Said the video showed it and ya ask if it’s a witch hunt or true… Smfh

VC runs a real classy program.
That is shameful and if he has a job tomorrow morning I'll assume the district is just as shameful.

We saw Loge get tripped clear from the visitors bleachers. Coming from a team that lined up and said “you want some, come get some” before the game, and yes I know they do that every week, I doubt their coaches care to much about said coach tripping our player.
VC having to let their firework show off after we won the title last night made it even better.

Bunch of these comments and threads popping up on here lately. Sometimes things are seen on video that are open whether it’s actually one thing or the other.buckeyes05 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 15, 2022 6:37 pm Said the video showed it and ya ask if it’s a witch hunt or true… Smfh
Last week the pissed all over uniforms or something. I’ve been on the interwebs enough to know that just because I see it in script doesn’t mean it’s true.
If the coach tripped a player….he should be done.
It would be cool if all the adults and kids were of good sportsmanship…win or lose.

Absolutely unacceptable. Coach should have already dismissed this guy without having to be told by an administrator, the AD, or a board member to boot his sorry arse out of the program and the administration ban him from all VC HS athletic events. If there had not been a camera on him to catch this, he would have gotten away with this. Glad that BMG was there broadcasting the game to catch this BS.

Yep…he’d be done for me. Great example and leadership…and sportsmanship. Then laughs about it. Who thinks about doing that with a league title on the line?
Re: Vinton County 20 - 21 Nelsonville-York 2022
After watching video and seeing his reaction and reading about VC peeing on stuff at RIver Valley, I’m going to assume this guy did it or it was his idea.

Coach that did that must be proud of himself, trying to hurt a kid? Great example to set for your team, what a worthless p o s !
Re: Vinton County 20 - 21 Nelsonville-York 2022
As a member of Vinton County, I just want to apologize for the incident that happened at the football game Friday night. In my near 20 years of being a resident here, I have never felt so sick to my stomach then what I do right now. The video I watched is absolutely absurd and appalling! I have done so much voluntary coaching here that I would never in a million years dream that this is the acceptable behavior we want our "Leaders" to install into our student athletes. The really sad part is this incident is a black eye on our community. I have always thought that Vinton County Athletics always took pride in the amount of class that we try to show during events, but I am totally shocked. The gentleman in the video is shockingly a leader in non sports events as well in our community and in my opinion should be forced to step down from there as well. To the young athlete from Nelsonville that was victim of this, I myself as a member of the Vinton County community want to say sorry that you had to endure this public embarrassment and hyannis incident by a member of the coaching staff.
Re: Vinton County 20 - 21 Nelsonville-York 2022
Haha, everyone on here acts so surprised at this. This is the atmosphere and mind set that was installed by this staff and no doubt it will continue as long as we have 20 guys roaming the sideline that is there for themselves and not the kids. As a head coach, superintendent, or AD How do you have an assistant with a mindset to trip a player and laugh about it, A crooked preacher that belittles players, a felon that just spent 3 years in prison for killing someone? And i could go on. Terrible to have these types of people around the kids.
