Such an outstanding, hard-nosed, old school football player. Truly enjoyed watching him in Logan a few weeks ago. He can be a difference maker.
He is done for the year. Broken ankle. I would honestly take Chilli in this matchup. This game would be for the outright league title too.
Really sorry to hear about this kid and his season ending injury. I had heard a lot about him throughout the year, and was looking forward to seeing him play. I have watched the Ironmen a few games this season, but I don't know the players that well. After leaving the Ironmen/WCH game when the game got out of hand, and then tuning in for the postgame show on the radio, by name only did I realize that one of the Ironmen's best all around players saw very limited action in the game. He only came on the field for the extra points, and to the Ironmen's benefit there were quite a few of those. I know how important this game is for both schools, and with the playoffs just a few days away from starting, I really hope for an injury free game for both teams.

Yes Jackson has dealt with some injuries all year. But the Ironman have historically kept the mentality of its next man up. Have played all year without 1 of the best kickers perhaps in Ohio. Should be a great game.

Too bad. He's honestly one of the 3-4 best "football" players I have seen play against Logan all year. He might not have the "ceiling" that 13 has - he's going to be a star at the next level, no doubt - but 44 was tough and had such a nose for the football from linebacker. Hate that for the kid.

Should be a really great game between these two based on history and what I saw from both this season. Hope for an injury free game and success for both teams in the postseason.

Always well spoken locos. I can re-assure you that the week 1 Jackson team you saw in Hocking County is not this week 10 Jackson team.

I don't doubt that!

And for the first time in a long time, the week one team you saw in Hocking County isn't the one playing in week 10. Might be the same result between our teams, but we've made some huge strides this season. Super proud of our kids and coaches.

Lots of respect for you and the Ironman program for sure. Hoping we can be a worthy adversary again soon.

As the week's went on I feel more confident about JHS. I know it's a game that's been screwy in the past with unexpectedness but I believe the ironmen take care of what needs taken care of this week. They seem to be peaking perfectly and the Cavs maybe not quite as much. Good luck to both teams.

This game will depend on which Jackson team shows up. Will it be the Jackson team that was clinging to an 8 point lead against Miami Trace with under a minute to go and converted a fourth and goal to put the game away, or will it be the Jackson team that dominated Washington from start to finish on Friday? I personally feel that Coach Hall will have the Ironmen fired up and ready for a second straight FAC championship game. I think Chillicothe will be more prepared and focused than WCH was, but I'll take the Ironmen 42-20. Good luck to both teams!

Throw out all of the records and stats! This will be a great game because both teams have a long history of playing one another since their Pee Wee days. Chillicothe got blown out last year at Alumni Stadium, it will not happen this year at Hernstein Field. Never does, look at the history of this rivalry. Good Luck to both teams! Could be one of the better games played in Southern Ohio this season.

This will be a backyard brawl . Like previously mentioned , these two teams have banged heads since peewee ball. This has turned into one of the better week 10 games on tap. Hard hitting and pretty chippy. Go get it IRONMEN !
