I had the opportunity to see Logan play in a 7 on 7, wasn't able to see them on a Friday night.. I would say the next two years you will see the work start to pay off. Looking forward to see what they can do in 2023.

Logan won 4 games last year. 20 years ago that would have been an extremely disappointing season. While it's good to see "some" momentum towards the end of last year, their only wins came against opponents with a combined record of 13-27. No more consolation prizes. A winning record MUST happen next year.

And for the people that say that the Tomahawk program is only successful because of the teams they play, this year's 6th graders were undefeated last year including beating champs from 2 other leagues. This year they went undefeated in their league again including destroying the Teay's Valley team that won their league. This past weekend they played in the Picktown Gridiron Classic where they beat a league champ Watkin's Memorial team 30-0, beat a Pickerington team 7-6, beat another undefeated league champ Gahanna 27-6 before eventually losing to Pickerington's elite team 28-12 in the championship. That Pickerington team had surrendered 0 points up to playing Logan and said they were the best team they had played all year. People at the top should be excited to build on the tomahawk program instead of taking their players, losing and saying that they didn't play anyone.

Two ways to totally transform your offense into a scoring machine.

1. Come to one of the clinics we are speaking at.

2. Come and spend some time with us.

Just look at what Meigs did on offense this year in the games when the players listened and did what they were told. Come see us if you want to score a lot of points. Stay home if you don’t.

Logan finished strong in 2022.

They lose a ton of their core - some real grinders who bough in and overachieved.

Logan loses three starters on the offensive line - RT (Carrier), RG (Brooks), and C (McCune) and tight end (Miller).

All their receivers (Swope, Hill, Castle, Thompson).

Leading rusher (Fick) and best playmaker (Sturgell).

And on defense they lose both ends (Ross and Harden), two of their three inside LBs (Dawson and Turner), their SAM (Brooks).

They lose the entire defensive backfield - Adjustor (Sturgell), corners (Swope, Castle, and Fick), and free safety (Thompson).

Lots of good pieces back though as well.

G/DT Kallen Wilson played more snaps than anyone else on the team. He should be the best football player on the roster next year.

Kaden Morgan rushed for over 500 yards despite not playing much earlier in the season. Chris Gompf and Jack Brown are both back at fullback (B).

LT Aiden Hite is back, LG is Wilson, and Avery Linton was a swing starter at guard.

Quarterback Jack Walsh will be a returning starter.


On defense the interior line returns in Wilson, Linton and Elijah Yates.

Jack Brown should be in line for a stellar senior season at linebacker, but the other inside backer spot is wide open.

The SAM and Adjuster positions will be tough to fill - but I think Walsh flashed as the adjuster in relief roles last year.

Corner is another huge question mark. Jeremy Fraley made a single start (St. Charles) at free safety last year.

The biggest problem Logan has had lately it SEEMS ANYWAY, is that they get good solid groups who play Tomahawks, middle school and maybe freshman and then select kids who have the talent, dont come out after that. Why is this happening? Why have they lost solid athletes who have played for years then stop when its time to make the jump? Just curious.

While that all may be true, they have so many kids per acre in that district that they should be able to reload with ease.
