Eastern is going to be a tough out for any team they face. I understand River Valley is struggling but Eastern is a pretty darn good football team.

Is eastern good hard to tell they play no one except Waterford and Trimble and i think they are both on a down year too I see a good record in regular season win a playoff game and get housed same as last year

RV got smoked tonight 55-6. Enrollment Figures:
RV: 196 boys
Eastern 76 boys

How do you have 120 more boys in your school and lose 55-6?!?!?!

RV's two biggest wins in the last 15 years came against the two worst Gallia Academy teams since Eisenhower was in office.

How does this get turned around? The coaches change every few years, the kids obviously are in and out every 4 years…so what is the constant? Is it the community? Is it leadership? Something has to change. I just wish we all knew what that was because I think there are some individuals in that community ready to do good things.

Probably starts with getting more boys out to play every fall. No reason for a school Eastern's size to lay a smackdown on a school RV's size when neither one is a private school and they're in the same geographical region
