Marauder Streak at 315 days
Someone posted on here that it has been 315 days since the last time Meigs scored a meaningful touchdown. What are the prospects for the end to our offensive drought this coming fridy when we face the Coal Grove defense?
Re: Marauder Streak at 315 days
I just wish they’d stop dodging Eastern. I get it that the coaches hate each other but it would be a huge gate and an absolute war on the field.
Re: Marauder Streak at 315 days
Relax fellas, these first three games don’t mean anything. They’re like scrimmages so we don’t show much. Around about game four we’ll start really coaching and work on getting the players to listen. That’s when the the offense will take over and the winning will start. Just like last season.MarauderMadness wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2023 2:26 pm Someone posted on here that it has been 315 days since the last time Meigs scored a meaningful touchdown. Yeah that week one game really is just a light practice for GA. Wonder if Meigs varsity could give Gallia JV a good game. Doubtful! But I'm sure it would be closer than the beatdown earlier this month.*D1* wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2023 2:39 pmRelax fellas, these first three games don’t mean anything. Steak might be a struggle at the moment but we are only about 350 days away from beating GA next season in the turf. You know? Turf? That stuff your ghetto school won’t pony up for? This program will far outshadow yours very soon.

They really need to stop playing you guys they never get any extra playoff points since you can't beat anyone outside of the TVC and only win against the worst in the TVC if you are lucky.

Maybe they should have saved some money and not bothered outting two end zones on that new field. they only need the one the oppoenent uses lol.

With installing the new turf Meigs has one of the nicest facilities in the area. It just seems as if they struggle to be competitive against quality opponents. Hope they can get it turned around.

Meigs has only beaten 5 schools with a winning record since 2000:
River Valley 2016
River Valley 2015
Alexander 2009
Coal Grove 2008
Belpre 2007

It’s hard to develop a program when the only requirement to be the head coach is you have to have been an NFL or D1 college player. That has been the case for nearly three decades. These last two would struggle to be successful with a youth league team. But by gawd he was in the NFL, or D1, so he has to be a great coach, right. SMDH

Can anyone answer a simple question?
What plans do the Marauders have to get in the end zone…..ONCE?

Re: Marauder Streak at 315 days
Honestly, they’re probably searching for another coach that played D1 or NFL to bring on to call the plays. That seems to be the answer for them. Maybe give Jimmy Bell a call. His Belpre teamsHoward Cosell wrote: ↑Wed Aug 30, 2023 10:32 am Can anyone answer a simple question?

Don’t recall y’all doing much winning after week 4 last season or really all season for that matter*D1* wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2023 2:39 pmRelax fellas, these first three games don’t mean anything. You can’t spell TVC without VC
