Re: WK 5: Warren (1-3) @ Fort Frye (4-0)
Would like to know if the ruling on the downed punt was right. Catch the ball and go into endzone, I thought would be a touchback versus down at 1. It was most definitely that play of the game.

Warren just couldn’t hold back fort back for 4 quarters. Way closer than I thought going in for sure!

I don’t know the rule I know in the nfl if your momentum takes you endzone it’s a touchback. Warren really needs to learn to take some plays under center. Shotgun on 6 inch line is bad.

Cadets knee it out on 5 yard line of Warren.
Great game.
Great effort by Warren. That was smart to play a 5 man front.

Probably was the right call as some rules are different in high school. Absolutely right that shot gun was a huge mistake!EasternDspy wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2023 9:14 pmI don’t know the rule I know in the nfl if your momentum takes you endzone it’s a touchback. Last week Warren had a similar issue where it was 3rd and goal at the half yard line and was in shotgun and muffed up the handoff and lost 3 and didn't get in on the 4th down.

Also Warren should have took a fg when it was 4th n 5 from the 5 earlier in the game. Warren played really good. Clayton Miller was a little banged up Fort saved him for the 4th and he balled out.

Sounds like more "questionable" decisions from coach Peyton.

Coach Peyton has made quite a few “questionable” decisions since he took over at Warren.Bucknuts88 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2023 9:38 pm Sounds like more "questionable" decisions from coach Peyton.
