Re: Wk 6: Fort Frye (5-0) @ Linsly (2-1)
Drew Pastuer has Linsly a 32 point favorite. I’ll take Fort to cover that.

After seeing Warren hang with the Cadets, Linsly just might cover the spread. Not the same big boy bullies up in Beverly this year.

This does not appear to be the usual Linsly team , but playing at home they will be the favorite

They aren’t as good as last year but they still only lost 31-17 to Desales. Look for the Cadets to run the clock. Last year it took 3 onside kicks for Linsly to win.Bunker Hill wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2023 3:29 pm This does not appear to be the usual Linsly team , but playing at home they will be the favorite

Fort Frye is far from where they were last year too. Cowan might throw for 400.Bunker Hill wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2023 3:29 pm This does not appear to be the usual Linsly team , but playing at home they will be the favorite

Dang most teams would love to be a down (5-0). Fort Frye is rebuilding a little that’s for sure but they are finding a way to win. I still have them going 9-1. You’re taking way too much stock in that Warren game. Miller was hurt. If I was Fort I would sit him this week. They probably lose this game but it’s the kind of game you learn from.Notsofastmyfriend wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2023 10:15 pmFort Frye is far from where they were last year too. Does Linsly have that little fast kid they had last year? He was a stud.

Fort has struggled in more games than Warren. Marietta gave them trouble too and the team from Canada was right there until the end. They are not the Fort Frye team of recent history. Linsly will show that. Last year Fort at least had a chance to beat them.EasternDspy wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2023 10:32 pmDang most teams would love to be a down (5-0). Everyone knew Fort was rebuilding. They lost 13 Srs and 3 all state players. Coach Huck and his staff has done a great job finding ways to win.Notsofastmyfriend wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 5:20 amFort has struggled in more games than Warren. I was the one that told you Warren game would be closer than you think. Fort is replacing almost every skill position from last year.Notsofastmyfriend wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 5:20 amFort has struggled in more games than Warren. And if Warren had a coach who actually knew what he was doing, Warren would’ve won. He leaves more talent on the sidelines than he has on the field too much. SMH

You keep saying Fort isn’t as good as we thought… Who has said they were going to be? I think most people expected them to be down I had them at 7-3 or 8-2. I said the game vs Warren would be closer than people think. Coach Huck and his staff are doing a great job to get to 5-0 with 30 players and only few starters returning.Notsofastmyfriend wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 8:19 amEasternDspy wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 8:15 amI was the one that told you Warren game would be closer than you think. After this game, Fort has it pretty easy for the rest of the season. Not sure if Caldwell is hype of the real deal.
Re: Wk 6: Fort Frye (5-0) @ Linsly (2-1)
I don't think people understand. Fort Frye has good players but also, they barely can field a team. One starter goes down and the whole system breaks down because you're plugging a freshman into the lineup.EasternDspy wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 8:36 amYou keep saying Fort isn’t as good as we thought… Who has said they were going to be? I agree but still backing the Cadets to pull off the upset.EasternDspy wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2023 8:42 am This could be where Fort Frye road win streak stops. This is a Saturday game btw.
Good luck and good health to both teams.
