Licking County Fan. Absolutely correct! Let the second or third team run your offense. You can’t quit playing just play your players that need reps.LICKING COUNTY FAN wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 8:18 am As long as the winning team has the back ups in there is nothing wrong with this I.M.O.
You allow your backups to run your offense if you have them in and they are not running your base offense it is a waste of time for them.

Agree! It isn't running up the scoreboard on purpose if the second team players continue to score.VCTailgater wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 4:55 pmLicking County Fan. Absolutely correct! It makes you wonder..
Ashland Tomcats downed George Wahsington 42-21
They also Suffered a Smiliar defeat to Cabell Midland 49-21

This makes you feel really bad for South Charleston... they are WAY WAY down.

Re: 98-7, Why?
This is correct and we played very vanilla as to try and keep it respectful, the JV defense was actually in on the final drive before halftime for the oaks. I'd say about 80-90% of the kids that played in that 2nd half were freshman and sophomores. But let's not forget even around here in week 1, Notre Dame beat Manchester 78-6.LoyalOak wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 7:17 am Makes no sense to me either. You want as many kids to play as possible each year for every team and this isn’t helping. Waverly was beating my Oaks 50-7 at halftime and they let other kids play after half and it ended 57-7 I think it was. They had the ability to do the same but there is no reason for it at all.
