Wellston will look to play spoiler, but the Viking defense is just to tough and it should be a long night for wellston good thing it’s a short drive bus should still be warm when the game is over

Can VC seal the deal and win the TVC outright with a win against the team over Hamden Hill? Wellston is chippy and looking for the upset. They have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Wellston hasn’t done much in the rivalry the last 10 years, but all of that won’t matter if it can mess up VC’s outright championship this year.

I look forward to seeing VC’s offense spread the ball out to their different playmakers and making Wellston’s defense chase them around all night.

I can't see the Rockets being able to prevent the Vikings from winning the TVC Championship outright.

In 1996, VC torched the TVC Ohio division before their week 10 rivalry game against Wellston. The rockets won 7-0 and the Vikings shared the TVC Ohio.

Wellston, although they need a lot of help, still has an outside chance at the playoffs with a win.

Vikings are the best team in TVC Ohio this year. They have continued to improve. They are disciplined and are meeting their goal as TVC Ohio Champs.

Rockets toughed out an 0-10 season last year. Their goal was to be competitive and get better every week and they have improved to 3-2 in TVC Ohio. Rockets need to compete on each play to see what happens. I know they won't give up.

I wish both teams good luck and an injury free game.

How does this team stand when it comes to point allowed? Top 10, top 5, top 3 in VC history? This years defense has been outstanding and one of the most well coached defenses I’ve ever seen from a VC team.

Right now the Vikings are giving up 7.4 ppg. The school record is 3.9 (1991). Second is the 1988 team at 7.1. If VC can hold the rockets out of the end zone Friday, they will be the second best in school history.

Congrats to VC on winning the league. It seems like it’s always a battle week 1 and this year was about as even as it can get. It’s nice to see VC and Unioto end their long droughts this year. Well deserved

Rockets need to be prepared for the onside kick. Athens and Meigs both had successful onside kicks. Both took Wellston by surprise. It made a difference in the Athens game.

I’d guess VC is at around four to five successful onside kicks so far this season. Squibs that opposing teams couldn’t handle that VC hustled for.

I will say watching RV score on a squib kick that was caught on the front line was one of the more impressive plays I’ve seen against VC this year
