Trace is definitely capable but very inconsistent, will have to play a good game to beat HT. HT coming off a great win over Bloom-Carroll thought they were going to cruise over Logan Elm and got shutout. I would have to think HT has a bounce back game I’ll take the rangers by a touchdown.

Hamilton Township by few scores at their home field for the Rangers advantage.

After that shellacking we HTers took last week, I'm wasn't encouraged to see that Miami Trace lost to Logan Elm by less than we did. Oh well, I still have confidence in my Rangers, best year they've ever had.

Trying to think when we played Trace last - 15 years? Maybe 20? IIRC, there was a Schlicter on the roster back then, was told it was a nephew or cousin of Art's. I'm sure the locals were tired of us yokels asking about that, lol.

Anyway, should be a great evening for football. Call it the Rumble on Rathmell.

I think Hamilton Twp got caught up in the moment after beating BC, and fell asleep at the wheel against Logan Elm. The Rangers will be refocused. I’ll take Hamilton by 2 scores.

If MT plays well I can see this being a game into the fourth quarter with them having a chance to win. They cannot afford a slow start or to fall behind more than one possession at any point in the game.

Trace will be athletically outmatched in this one. Also, with HT losing last week, I'm sure they will be looking to make a statement in the first round. HT wins by few TD's.

Miami Trace just too tough tonite. Congrats to the Panthers, and best of luck against Watterson next week.

Called this one. I thought MT coming into this game was more physical and the more rounded football team. However, I did not foresee the 55 point offensive explosion. LeBeau with 300+ yards rushing, and Garrett Guess finally more involved in the offensive game plan with a couple TDs and multiple receptions. This is huge for them to be peaking at the right time.

Watterson next week is a tall task but I think they have an opportunity here to play spoiler. We could see a rematch with Jackson if Trace can pull this off.
