Have you even watched them ? They are solid and might be a tad better but superior. Nah the entire region is mid. Caldwell vs River is a toss up game. Probably would take River by 6. They are much worse than last seasonBunker Hill wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 8:33 pmBelieve me , River is superior to Caldwelldirt_cinders wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2023 8:21 pm Caldwell may have been listed as a 3 seed. We played 1 and 2. This team far and away the best team in the region. Dominant.

Re: Caldwell (8-3) v Notre Dame (8-3)
Caldwell's no huddle really gave ND some fits. They took advantage of the low numbers for the Titans. Also, what was up with the 2 Wildcat calls? ND had the ball in Caldwell territory, ran WIDE splits, then ran a wildcat to the short side of the field, then proceeded to run the same play on 4th down but got sacked. Not a great play call there.

SOC1 was probably the worst its ever been with the exception of Eastern Beaver. I scrolled through ND wins and was kind of shocked at the records of the teams they beat. ND had a total of 7 wins in regular season. Out of those 7 teams, they had a combined record of 22 wins and 48 losses.
Manchester 2-8
Berne Union 2-8
Fisher Catholic 3-7
South Gallia 7-3
Green 1-9
Symmes Valley 3-7
East 4-6
Thats insane to me. I know ND only has a few decent players (private school and the enrolment), but just kind of shocked at the records in general. I streamed this game and ND didn't impress at all. Below average football team at best!! Hopefully they have decent talent coming up because they need it.

Worst ever except Eastern Beaver. ND lost by 3 less than a minute. So if you put Eastern but not ND -- LOL!thegreatdivider wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 2:16 pm SOC1 was probably the worst its ever been with the exception of Eastern Beaver. Re: Caldwell (8-3) v Notre Dame (8-3)
Did you happen to watch any other games?? 8-4 season, losing the SOC in the last 30 seconds (hats off to Eastern), making it to week 12 losing to the higher seed. Maybe traveling over three hours on a school bus, to show up to a facility that should never hold a playoff game, maybe have a little to do with their play. No not excuses but ND is better than what they showed against Caldwell and Caldwell was the superior team. I’m not making excuses cause no one should be satisfied with a beat down like that but to claim they are a below average team is idiotic! All you have say is you don’t like ND cause that’s all that comment is about!!! They proved to everyone that said the would suck, that they were an above average team.thegreatdivider wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 2:16 pm SOC1 was probably the worst its ever been with the exception of Eastern Beaver. They had 5 seniors but only about 3 played regularly due to injuries. Losing only one senior out of the skilled position, losing a senior center and a guard. Their sophomore backups got alot of play time and experience this season. ND started a freshman, a lot of sophomores and juniors. Their QB is a sophomore that Their two junior offensive tackles were around 200lbs facing kids 235 to 325 all season and blocked well. They will be decent again next year.
Try and look at how many seniors all their opponents had, I would say 8-11.
They are just not an elite team and will never be as long as there is low turnout and no size and strength. It’s that simple! If anyone expects them to contend for a regional title every year then you need to face reality! But these 20 kids worked their butts off this year and it showed so take your bs comments somewhere else .
Re: Caldwell (8-3) v Notre Dame (8-3)
Hopefully ND can do better in bassitball than they did in football. Do they have enough to beat Ironton St Jude. Fed Hock never did.
