Very true…Meigs needs to take a good look in the mirror and quit trying to play bully in a county that the only other schools are D7. Look at your region and try schedule non conference games that you can actually win to get a better chance to win a playoff game rather than getting a 16 seed and get throttled by Harvest Prep in round one…they have Ironton and Wheelersburg in their region as well. Playing Gallipolis is a big gate and playing Eastern or Southern would be a massive gate but what do they actually gain from that…if they win well, they are suppose to win because they are two divisions bigger plus they get are only getting D7 playoff points which won’t get them anywhere near the top of their region…D5. If they lose then they are the laughing stock of SE Ohio. MarauderMaddess may want to do his/her homework before calling out teams and coaches on this site because the Marauders got taken out to the wood shed in week one and from what I heard about the team at Eastern, I’d say this would be a year that Meigs don’t want any part of them. Best of luck to all the Meigs county schools this year.

It's a good thing Meigs fans travel well or I doubt there would be any incentive for GA to play them, seeing as most meetings are pretty resounding beatdowns in favor of the blue and white.

Meigs is awful. And RV is even worse. I hear they are considering dropping it and focusing on soccer. Wise move. Most popular sport on the globe. Plus girls and trans can play with the boys.
