Pretty sure though that life long students do not count for a CB so this wouldn’t be the case.transplant wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2024 10:55 am So does Valley. Most of their CB number comes from kids that have always gone to Valley, they just live outside of the district. I know of only a few kids that have transferred in during high school. The problem with Valley is there isn't any land for sale for people to build and move in to the district. They have to find homes in other areas and drive the kids in.
Even if a student has went to the school from k-12, residency still matters. According to this k-12 kids do count against CB unless the student and at least one parent live in the district.

Re: 2024 Football Transfers
Many on this site (specifically a few from Ironton) are great at posting what is not true. They are desperately trying to come up with a reason for Burg’s success. They simply can’t figure out how Burg wins state titles while Ironton can’t despite Ironton getting transfers from all over the tristate area.greygoose wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2024 6:37 pmThanks, that would for sure explain valley and oak hill but with everyone talking about burg guys on the borders for other schools you’d think they would be higher.RBH23 wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2024 5:19 pmThe attachment below explains this.greygoose wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2024 3:52 pm

This is correct Lucasville is a aging community most of the people have lived there their whole lives or passed their house onto their kids even if you go to the games most of the crowd is older it’s really hard to find any land for sale and we don’t really have any apartment buildings as the ones by the briar patch mostly goes to northwesttransplant wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2024 10:55 am So does Valley. In Wheelersburg all success is celebrated…not just football as in some other places. Barely a peep out of anyone from ironton about McKenzie Long til she was in the Olympic qualifying races, despite being a top runner in the NCAA. Football is great and is the top sport in the area but there are many other opportunities for success.TigerBlood00 wrote: Tue Jul 02, 2024 12:03 pmWhat burg success? Re: 2024 Football Transfers
What is Wheelersburg overall W/L record vs Ironton, Prep & Jackson over the last 5 years? Don't deflect paper powerhouse. Little sister. 1989 & 2017 don't have anything to do with what is goin on now. Burg fans have to deflect because burg coaches AIN'T so superior after all and the culture is gettin WHIPPED like it stole somethin. 2 of those teams are from Burgs own region.522Pirate wrote: Tue Jul 02, 2024 9:47 pmDipTigerBlood00 wrote: Tue Jul 02, 2024 7:25 pmDoormat522Pirate wrote: Tue Jul 02, 2024 5:51 pm

Burg is only like two seasons removed from Ironton smackin em like 40 - 6. .522Pirate wrote: Tue Jul 02, 2024 9:47 pmDipTigerBlood00 wrote: Tue Jul 02, 2024 7:25 pmDoormat522Pirate wrote: Tue Jul 02, 2024 5:51 pm

And only a season removed from lettin P West beat em for their own conference. And right after P West beat lil sis Ironton did whatever they wanted to P West.
Jackson has a win streak vs burg. Ironton has a win streak vs Jackson.
Ironton is tied with Prep. Both teams have beaten one another.
Prep is like 4 or 5 and 0 vs burg
Why are Wheelersburg fans even talking? Better talk about anything but football like ya do. Keep deflecting because ya so called superior coaching and culture is gettin WHIPPED and ya gonna get more of it real soon. lol

Burg don't have to. That game doesn't mean poop anymore with 16 teams making the playoffs now. Burg could go 5-5 (which won't happen) and still make the playoffs. Games like that are so you, Mr. 1989 can pound on your chest and scream at the top of your lungs, "Ironton is the king of football because they beat the all mighty Burg"
Ironton has won the region how many times the last 30 years, so going back to 1994 and have how many titles to show for it?? Oh that's right....................................................................................................................................................................................
ZERO.
