Along with Carrico I believe this will make the Ironton Fighting Tigers 2nd Mr. Ohio candidate in just the last few years.

Indeed, a great accomplishment just to make the list. I definitely see him having a great season.

The Ironton program appears to be stringing together a new tradition of Mr Ohio candidates. Very impressive.ohbuckeye2 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2024 1:38 pm Indeed, a great accomplishment just to make the list. I definitely see him having a great season.

Awesome news, good luck to the young man. I thought Carrico should have won it, but you know what they say about opinions, lol!!

With Ironton having a tough schedule I don’t think he will last on the list.

Doesn't matter if he's on that List or not . Play
Ers from southeastern ohio never win mister football. If Carrico didn't then no way anyone else will.

That's a tough one, we just don't live in a area where the players are going to get the recognition from those that are voting. Looks like Kiner won it that year he had 1,866 yards and 35tds but he was from the Cincinnati area which is going to give him a major boost over Carrico especially at that time Ironton really wasn't on anyone's map. Had Carrico played in Cincy, Columbus or 2-3 years later at Ironton could've been a different story for sure. Terry won't have a shot at winning but that will be because of the position he plays, if you look up the award that started in 1987 only 1 player has WR listed as a position there's actually more LB only position players listed as winners with 2. Just the way it works QB or RB simply gets the ball way more than a WR. Nice to be listed and recognized preseason at least but that's as far as it'll go.

Tanner Holden was a finalist for Burg for Mr. Football. So arnton isn’t the only oneTigerBlood00 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2024 3:40 pmWonder why Ironton is the only program in area puttin em on the list?

Who gives a rats ass when it was. How long ago was Carrico on the list? Half a decade ago.
It was in 2017! The same year Burg won the state. It was also his Junior year. Wasn't Carrico a Senior and now so will be Terry?

Did Terry come from Portsmouth West?
Re: Ironton senior WR and Missouri commit Shaun Terry on the MR. OHIO watchlist.
I thought someone posted he’s from the Huntington area. Definitely did not start school at Ironton.
Hope he wins the award but only doing well after the Burg game

Yeah, that's it you fookin' moron. We've already established that because you morons from Ironton have to try and divert your bullshit somewhere else.
