Piketon Redstreaks Football 2024

Not seen much talk on here about Piketon. What kind of year are they looking at? I know they have some skill guys back and looking to find some linemen.

I expect Luke Gullion to take another leap forward as a junior and put up some big numbers. Could be a fun season for the redstreaks.

I’ve heard from lot of ppl that piketon and paint valley will play for the league with zt right there too

Piketons success will go through the defense, which seems to be their Achilles heel every year! Can they stop the physicality of PV, and Free on the outside! Same to be said for them against ZT and Unioto! Their offense will score points but can they get off the field on defense and have they ever found a kid to kick extra points
I see them 7-3 which is a good season for them!

I believe Piketon only lost like 6 seniors and they're up over 60 for their roster this season. They've got a ton returning even though they only lost 6 guys they lost some leaders especially at LB. The OL is solid for Piketon but can that defense get off the field?? Piketon will push for the SVC crown but as it sits right now I think that is PV's to lose they return just so much talent that if they don't win the SVC there should definitely be some questions asked out in Baindbridge. I expect both Unioto to be better than most are giving them credit for and ZT will be right in the thick of things as well games between these 4 teams are going to be exciting but can Piketon handle the physicality of the other 3?? So far they haven't been able to match it and stay turned to see if they can this year or not I like that they have a better non conference schedule even if only by a little.

How did the Streaks look against Greenfield last night?

Piketon moved the ball well, Wilson broke some nice runs, completed several passes, but struggled a little bit on offense. Still looked like the timing started slow on offense, but improved each series. Defensively, they ran well to the ball, and IMO won the LOS. Some new faces in new positions, but the defense has athletes.
