Think the plan will be the same as usual. Grind out long drives with our bruising backs and capitalize. Keep the ball out of their guys hands, and keep it easy on our young secondary. This game has been a barn burner and they have just seemed to have our number the past 3-4 years. Hope we can finally get the monkey off our back. I expect another good one.

I really like the skill guys for Fairland. I think getting Wall back to play QB is huge for this team. I think he throws the ball well he will be able to stretch the field with his arm. Also I think it benefits Kitts and Cremeans having a passing game to soften the defense front 7 for these 2 to be able to pound the ball and get in between the tackles and out on the edge.
Really like the WR for Fairland I think Graham-Smith and Hayden are all capable of putting up big numbers catching the ball from Wall. Think these 3 dudes can take 5-7
Yard passes and turn them into house calls. I think the fact that Wall can throw the ball over the top these 3 can hurt a defense.
Fairland offensive line is solid however not a ton of depth they have to stay healthy up front.

I think the match up with P-West and Fairland it will ultimately come down to the front 7 and who can control the LOS I think the fact that P West will want to run the ball and control the clock will be a nice challenge for Fairland they can see how they match up physically. I think the group Fairland has playing at the linebacker spots will be huge Friday. I really like Cremeans and Callocoat ability to tackle and think they will be big Friday night.

The Land has a talented senior class loaded with great players along with a phenomenal team. Dragons have slayed the West Side 3 consecutive times. West Portsmouth has dropped to Division 6 Region 24 but they are still a great football program in a tough conference as Burg’s rivals.

Wall is a Fairland kid. Stud on the baseball diamond. Played QB as a Freshman and is coming back out for senior year

West secondary could have trouble stopping Fairland’s passing attack. But West OL and Parker should be able to eat on offense.

Games in this series always close, but I going with the Senators. I’ll say West wins 27-21.*
