Seriously? FF will run wild in this one. Getting rid of JB, a D1 guy, was a mistake. It won’t get any better than last week for them.

Barnesville is better than every team Fort will play the rest of the season. Give Coach Huck some time this team will be fine barring more injuries. Sophomore Qb is going to be really good. 3 good backs and a good Wr who had 165 yards Friday.

Fort Fyre leads the series 24 - 21.

The schools played their first game at Belpre in 1961 with FF winning 22 - 0. This was an annual series from 1961 thru 1970 as game 3 of the season.

In 1971 it was switched to the season opener thru the 1979 season. In 1980 it switched to game 2 thru 1982.

The series was suspended after 1982 due to the TVC expanding to 10 teams. The series resumed in 1997 thru 2003 as a week 3 game.

From 2004 thru 2008 it was played in week 2. It was suspended in 2009 but resumed in 2011, 2012 and 2013 in week 2. In 2014 it was moved to week 1 thru 2019. Suspended again for 2020, 2021, 2022 and resumed again last year.

Numbers for FF are down this year but they are still a good team despite their week 1 lose to a top notch Barnesville team.

Belpre is in the rebuilding mode for their program as they have 22 players on the roster which is an increase from 16 last year. We have 5 seniors.

FF will be a heavy favorite and rightly so but Belpre is making progress.

Belpre has already dropped them moving forward. They won't play next year.

Belpre was one of the few small schools that would play Fort Frye. FF can't afford to be choosey. They have enough trouble getting games as it is.

They’ll be just fine if they get numbers back up. They got plenty of young players and a Great Coach. They only have 6 Srs. People just need to relax.
