Hang in there , Coach Michael is doing the right things, the kids are playing hard. I believe long term Minford Football will be fine. Again as previously stated, kudos to the seniors who committed to being a part of this program knowing the challenges ahead. Minford’s biggest challenge this year is 2 fold. 1. Most playing both sides of the ball including special teams equaling fatigue,2. The margin for era is very small for this young group.

I'm sorry but the whole playing both sides and special teams is being done by a bunch of teams in the area let's not use that as a cop out in week 2 already.

No one is using it as a cop out. You have been all over these minford topics laughing and demeaning this team. Aren’t you a piketon fan? Real minford people know what is going on and if you don’t have anything constructive to say other than laugh and ridicule these kids I suggest you take it somewhere else. Or man up and let us know who you are.

Haven't ridiculed the kids at all, they're the ones that are getting the brunt end of this one. Facts are the administration let things go on for way to long and unfortunately these guys have to weather a very tough storm that wasn't their doing. If you read into things that on you, if you don't like what I wrote then add me as a foe and you won't see what I post no biggie to me. Nope not a Piketon guy either, you are correct though real minford people do know what's going on and that's why I went ahead and posted that explanation for ya.

Don’t ridicule the kids but you post this. Get a life my guy everyone that actually cares about this program knows it will take a few years to fix what Ruby did to this program.

Laughing at the sentence they could surprise a few ppl this year?? Oh my you must be a parent, and you are exactly right that's why I said the administration caused this problem and it's unfortunate the players over the next couple years at least, are going to have to bare the brunt of that mistake.

Not a parent at all. Just a proud alumni who will defend these kids and I Just don’t agree with laughing about someone trying to be optimistic about a game or season. And I hope those young men see this because we all know they read this site know that they have 0 to ashamed of.

2 games into the season but to me the kids look underprepared. I get Michael is in his first stint as a HC, but I’m thinking maybe he wasn’t ready for quite that big of an opportunity yet. I don’t want to hear about kids playing both sides of the ball, there are smaller teams in terms of numbers who look prepared and know how to line up properly lol. I think Minford goes 0-10, probably the worst team they’ve ever had unfortunately.

Keep your heads up Falcons. Everyone knew this would be a rough season, but numbers will start getting better again next year.

People from Minford I’ve talked to seem to be understanding of the situation and willing to support the new staff, and that’s great to see.*

Things will get better...in time, maybe a year or two. I for one feel He`s the right coach for the job! He has to have at least 4 or 5 years.

After two games the Panthers offense is rolling. Averaging over 39 points a game is a great way to have started the season.

Has to be a parent to get that offended by laughing at that statement. Truth is, they lost a ton of kids. Also, truth is they will surprise no one this year. They are in for a down year or 2 or 3. We know what down years feel like at Valley. You just have to accept it for what it is and hope that kids put in the work so things will turn around in your favor in years to come. Nothing optimistic about Minfords season this year. But hopefully that changes for them in the future. It's more fun as a fan when games are competitive.

I'd be surprised if a lot of those players in that class don't transfer to bigger schools.
