Week 2: Circleville 1-0 @ Vinton County 0-1

For the second time in history, the Tigers and Vikings will battle on the gridiron. VC won the first meeting last season. Circleville is coming off a win over Warren in week one. The Vikings dropped their season opener against the Tanks of Unioto. VC lost a talented senior class from a year ago and the Tigers bring back everyone but 3 seniors from last years squad. VC is in need of a bounce back this week as they face Trimble, Meigs and Athens over the next three weeks. Circleville is looking to improve on a 1-9 season from a year ago and battle for the the MSL this year. As of now, this game will kickoff at 7pm but a lot of games have been pushed back to an 8pm kickoff due to the heat this week. So keep an eye out on any kickoff time adjustments through the rest of the week.

I would love to see VC win-- just don't have the talent-very young -- I say we will see improvement next year- we might go 4-6 or 5-5. We lost a lot from last year.

Yeah they lost quite a bit and they're young, Circleville meanwhile returned a ton. VC is in for a long year but hopefully they'll keep growing as the season goes on.
