So what you are really saying is that WB is not a good fit for Jackson. The rest of the FAC would be a good fit though. That’s all you needed to say at the outset. I don’t disagree that it would lock jackson in to another long travel commitment but this is the same team that joined a conference with mostly 1 hour + drives to begin with.
Not sure what Warren and Vinton County have to do with WB and the FAC.
Western Brown vs Jackson.

Yes. First it was Combs who was afraid. Then NJ. Then Carper. Now it’s just the entire county itself. Everyone who lives outside of our school district knows exactly what it is.Ironman92 wrote: Thu Sep 19, 2024 8:06 pmOh…I think most people know whyArnie wrote: Thu Sep 19, 2024 2:23 pmTravel distance had nothing to do with why VC was vehemently against Warren rejoining the TVC. Jackson blew up and joined members of a conference that is mostly over an hour away because they had no other choice. The FAC as a whole is fine as is. But if they want to expand, WB wouldn’t be an issue for travel for everyone in the conference except for Jackson and Chillicothe. Warren on the other hand is a long drive from Wellston, RV, Meigs, and VC. That doesn’t matter though. Everyone outside the TVC knows the truth. Also, VC doesn’t decide who joins the TVC and who doesn’t. It’s funny that the consensus believes that to be true. Y’all are clueless. Sorry I even stated that WB would be a good fit for the FAC. Your response is to attack another school in another conference. Wow.

Re: Western Brown vs Jackson.
Jackson is in a rough spot for a school it's size.
bigger than any school around it other than Logan really.
They are not close to schools like the OVC or the SOC conferences our.
Or at least schools close to their size.
Look at Gallia Acadamy they have to travel Fairland is close but Portsmouth isn't Rock Hill is at least 45 minutes away as is Coal Grove and others.
Sometimes you have to work with what is best for your program.
Jackson is sadly stuck in a spot they can only do with what they have.

Re: Western Brown vs Jackson.
Why would any of those guys be afraid of Warren? Combs’ resume speaks for itself. Not buying that NJ cares. Carper? Lol. Why on earth would a football coach be afraid of playing Warren? You are selling your guys short man, three good dudes that gave a ton to VC.Dundas wrote: Thu Sep 19, 2024 8:39 pmYes. First it was Combs who was afraid. Then NJ. Then Carper.
