Week 6: Adena (3-2) vs Paint Valley (5-0)
PV is back at home for only the second time this season. Adena and PV scored like a thousand combined points in last season’s game… one of the craziest games I’ve ever watched live. Is Friday night’s game a repeat of last season, or do one of the defenses step up?
I expect PV by a couple scores… not expecting a running clock.

Not sure about the defenses stepping up, but I'll take Paint Valley with the win over Adena.

This game will be nothing like last year Adena doesn’t have that same fire power, PV by 28
Re: Week 6: Adena (3-2) vs Paint Valley (5-0)
Less fire power, but a significantly better team
Paint valley wins and it might be by a lot, but adena will at least have a scheme and idea of how to win. Which is much different than the past few seasons for them

Much better team yes, having a scheme and idea is one thing but simply don’t have the horses to pull off that scheme.

No real shocker here, Adena is getting better and they're improved from last season but as I said in my prediction PV simply has too much fire power and Adena doesn't have the means to claw back with that style of play.

Yeah, you did predict it… my “wow” was more about the PV defense. I was not expecting a shutout.

Really good team, believe they have like 17 seniors and for DVI that's a huge deal especially with the players they've got.Pop-PopFB70 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 7:35 pm Yeah, you did predict it… my “wow” was more about the PV defense. I was not expecting a shutout.

Bearcats do what they were supposed to do in this one, Being in the same region as Coldwater and Anna I would think other than winning the game staying healthy was a huge hope in this one.

Agree. It can be and is usually a very big deal to have that many Seniors on a Div-6 team.greygoose wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 7:39 pmReally good team, believe they have like 17 seniors and for DVI that's a huge deal especially with the players they've got.Pop-PopFB70 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2024 7:35 pm Yeah, you did predict it… my “wow” was more about the PV defense. Big win vs Adena. They played Amanda about the same as we did so it doesn’t look good for us vs pv. Adena is always a hard game for us, pv valley is way better than I thought

I believe it was a 7-0 game when Adena's QB went out. Game was back and forth in the 1st half. Got ugly in the 2nd half with Adena having no threat of throwing the ball.
