If you don’t have the line skill guys don’t really matter

Piketon went toe to toe with Zane Trace in the trenches. Also, their defense never gave up a big play against ZT. It looked like they did the same against Paint Valley. I have been impressed with Piketon's physical play this year.

I do think that it very well could be a very good ballgame. Until someone shows it on the field, I'll still go with PV with the victory. Let's really hope for an injury free game for both teams.
Congrats to the Red Streaks. I was right about it being a good ballgame, plus you did show me on the field that you were better.

Congrats to Piketon on a massive win, had Piketon not got some home cooking at ZT they'd be right there for the SVC title this year. With the win Piketon jumped all the way to 11 in the region just a big big team win. For PV I said it in the beginning of the season and it still holds true for this team with what they have it's a now or never type of thing. Really start looking closely at that PV schedule though and you can make the case that up until this Piketon game they hadn't played anyone even against a West a 2-5 West Jeff team I think they had to rally down 14 to come back and win that one. With ZT and Unioto left in weeks 9 and 10 this SVC is truly up for grabs with this Piketon win. Once again congrats to Piketon, don't have any type of PV hang over next week and take care of business.

I have been impressed with Piketon more than any other team in the SVC this season. They bring it every game and finally got a big win. Congrats!

Nice victory for the Red Streaks, finally able to get over that hump against one of the better SVC teams.

Zt didn’t get any home cooking. The 4th down touchdown was a TD. I was at the game standing on the fence right at the goal line and he was clearly in. It was the right call even if it took the officials forever to overturn it. The catch at the end of the 2nd quarter with a second left was also correct. Sosa’s broadcast proves it. So I’m not sure what home cooking you are talking about.

Agree on both instances. The ZT running back was laying waist deep in the endzone on the replay. Also, somebody said on another thread that one of the refs for the Piketon game works at Zane Trace. Nobody on that crew works at Zane Trace. The SVC hires the crew anyway.
