Can Rock Hill make a deep run in the playoffs?

Post by hasbeen00 »

The Redmen (6-1) have for sure a winning season but can they win a few playoff games and maybe a state title?

It would be best for RH to get beat before facing Anna or Coldwater in R24, those teams would be up 28-0 in 1st qtr. JBH

Set your goals high, it is free of charge. Often times we may not reach those goals. Just leave it on the field, and not in the locker room.

Thats a tough region. RH would need their best team ever to get out of it.

They might win a game or two in the playoffs. Coldwater is undefeated and beat Clinton-Massie and Valley View in Weeks 1 and 2.

Coldwater isn’t even the best team in the MAC, which is scary.

Oh man, asking these kind of questions is always going to lead to saying look at the schedule. RH lost to the only legit team they played in Fairland and that was a running clock. The teams they have beat are a combined 6-35, these final weeks RH can either show they have a team or they finish with 2 or 3 losses in the final 3 games. I think most will be surprised if they can even get a week 11 win the way it sits right now, so to answer the question no way

You can always set goals but Coldwater sits atop this region and will prevail. Coldwater won many games in D5 and will be hard to handle dropping down a division. It is always great to see RH turning their program around though.

The Redmen are having a good season, but deep run in the playoffs? No, not this year. Who knows what the future holds if the coach stays

The Redmen have had a great season up until this point. Instead of asking if they can win a "few" playoff games, it might be best to hope that they can win "a" playoff game. That would be a "No" on the State Title.

They've won the games they shouldve, having a good year this far. But, thinking about a deep playoff run isnt realistic. One game at a time.

I don't see a deep playoff run, especially if you run into a buzzsaw like Coldwater or Anna.

Sorry, but no state championship. Keep working hard and make it a memorable season, but don’t look for unreasonable expectations.

No, they'll get thrashed. When they play good teams, they get beat by 2/3 TDs. Fairland and Portsmouth, both soundly beat them. Heck, Coal Grove will probably beat them too.
