Monroe Central vs Barnesville

Post by Steely Dan »

So, for all of my Ironton friends, here's a link to watch the Shamrocks live Friday night to see what you may face in the post season, since you are all convinced that there is no opponent in your way to a state championship. I'm no Barnesville fan, believe me, but this is my PSA for all my friends in Lawrences county. You want to see what Barnesville has to offer, here it is, against the one team in the regular season who may actually be able to beat them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRrq8kf7i2U

Noles might keep it close for a little while, but I think Barnesville gets out to a lead and just wears them down. Shamrocks by 28+

I hope you are wrong, but in all honesty, I don't see this being more than a three score game. And once again, my honesty is on display, versus some of the dipsh*ts that continue to show how stupid they are on this forum.

Barnesville is more than legit this year than most would like to believe. After seeing some footage and hearing about them, I truly believe they could make a deep deep run and possibly a state championship this year.

Should be a good game but I think the Rocks are just the better team and will win by a couple of scores.

Good luck and good health to both teams.

Wheelersburg IMO would beat Barnsville

MC was able to move the ball between the 10’s but couldn’t punch it in. They had the ball inside the 15 multiple times but credit to the Rocks for bending but not breaking.

All in all I wasn’t impressed with Barnesville. Sure their size upfront mowed us over and will mow most small school teams over around here.

But their QB has the arm strength of a middle schooler and when they face a team that matches their size upfront it will be interesting to see how they react. They will struggle with Ironton, Harvest Prep, and probably Wheelersburg
