Head 2 Head now the tiebreaker

Warren needs to beat Marietta and Fort to beat Point

Fort needs to beat Point and Marietta to beat Warren

Marietta need to beat Warren and Point beat Fort

Point needs to beat Fort and Warren to beat Marietta.
Marietta>Point Pleasant>Warren>Fort Frye>Marietta :)

Week 10 is going to be fun. Not feeling great as a Marietta fan. Not because I don't think we can beat Warren, but because I just can't see Point Pleasant beating the Cadets. After watching Point tonight, I still have no idea how that team running clocked Warren.
Fort Frye is real beat up right now.

Combination of them playing their best game of the year and Warren playing their absolute worst game. Glad to see it looks more like a fluke after this week.

If Marietta wins next week, I believe they’ll win the league. I could be wrong.

Fort needs to get good news on Tyce Beardsley. Different team without him.

I believe that was Coach Hucks first ever loss to Warren. Warren first win over Fort since 07.

EDSPY explained it correctly. Each team that wins next week needs the team that beat them to lose. If Marietta wins, they need Point Pleasant to beat Fort Frye. If FF and Marietta win, FF wins the title.

Fort Frye could say the same thing tonight other than the Barnesville game. At least Begg is back after a week off. Hahaha

Most leagues use head-to-head as the tie breaker. I'm not aware the TSL determines the title that way. I expect someone will post on this thread to confirm that the TSL uses an alternative methodology. Stand by.

I expect someone on here knows and can ask a coach or assistant coach or AD and provide the scenario(s) for determining league champion in the TSL.

Last year they had no tiebreaker but this year they voted for head to head to be tiebreaker.

I’m pretty sure it was in the board mintutes that they voted to make the change after point and fort tied last year.

From TSL Website:

A. Football – Tie Breaker

#13: In case of a tie between schools, the TSL will use the following tie-breakers:
#1 – Head-to-Head Result
#2 – Points Allowed within league play
Motion was approved unanimously (4-0)

Couldn’t have you holding your kangaroo court for too long. I’m sure tonight was a lucky win. There has to be some excuse, right? “Haha.”

No luck, just using the same excuse you used for Warren last week. Fort Frye played their worst game tonight and Warren played their best. Next week we’ll know if it was a fluke.

Not sure what made tonight a "fluke." Two things can be true at the same time. Warren looked like the better team from start to finish tonight and their loss to PP last week was a fluke. Both seem to be very much the truth. And I do understand FF was beat up but Tanner Pepper barely played for Warren, didn't have a touch and they still won 28-6. But yes tonight was a "fluke."
