Congrats to the Wildcats on winning the TVC outright. Tough draw in the playoffs, but remember no one thought we could beat the best the TVC Ohio could throw at us either and we whooped ‘em’. Regardless, being the best in the whole conference both divisions is awesome.

Thus proving my point....please enlighten me with your reason you would possibly think Athens would put a running clock on Waterford?...just because a certain qb came from your school several years ago?...or maybe you think all the dumb money youve been given for the sports complex automatically puts you above all other schools in the area?...or perhaps it is the elite liberal administration of your school that instills this cockamantic (I made that word up ) attitude towards others?...i understand the argument completely...I pound my chest and yell loud for my team as well....however I refuse to accept your reality and substitute it with my own.

Waterford would bareass Athens. Nelsonville showed how soft Athens is. They should probably draw their players a map to the weight room if they ever want a chance against a physical team. Waterford would man handle them city boys and that finesse offense. So would the Eagles.

Can you imagine how bad Wahama would beat Nelsonville or Athens? If Wahama and SG were still in the league Athens and NY would be competing to be the fourth best teams.

Athens beat Warren. Warren beat Fort. Fort throttled Waterford. Waterford, Athens, NY, Eastern, and Trimble were all solid teams this year and should be proud of their seasons. The Hocking and the Ohio however, are two separate divisions. If a Hocking school wants to win the Ohio, join it. The reason for the split in 93 was because of competition. That doesn’t mean a school from the Hocking doesn’t have a better year than the Ohio schools occasionally but it’s not the norm. Any of the hocking schools have an open invitation to the Ohio division. Trimble turned it down a few years ago. Maybe Waterford or eastern should entertain the jump.
