By not practicing the skill correctly in live situations or preparing your body for live situations then would there not be a higher risk of just getting hurt during the game? Conditioning your body is very important.
Again, you speak of what you do not know. Updated programs can balance both.. shells provide just as much as live experiences. And no, the risk of getting hurt in full pads in practice is greater. Read the research . I assure this staff is up to date and current on the most safe ways to coach kids and keep them active. They are conditioned, they are prepared. I assure 80% of those boys would agree, if not more than that.

Sit in the stands and judge rather than support the program . Rather than ask questions and approach the coach.. folks like you are the division and the toxicity of programs . I pray you don’t have a child playing, as if this is your negative rhetoric on here, I assure you he hears it in the home. Ignorance is bliss.. just ashame you can’t support a program and get past your own issues.

Congrats to Fairland on another impressive season they've really built a nice program Chesapeake made some strides this year but just need to work on that defense.

Congrats Dragons on your win over the Panthers. You have had a great season and good luck as you start the first round of the playoffs.

You will see bad attitudes by players, missed routine tackles, lack of pass coverage and overall just being super under prepared. Not sure how a HS football team can prepare to win, when they haven’t worn full pads in practice since week 1. Yes you heard me correct, Chesapeake only wears helmets and shoulder pads in practice. That is exactly why assignments and tackles are missed. You can’t go full contact or full effort when you are half dressed. This makes you extremely under prepared. Would love to see Peake pull off the upset but it just won’t happen this Friday.
Dragons 48-20
This coming from a dude who’s salty af he wasn’t hired to be on Chesapeake’s staff and getting his info from someone who’s salty he isn’t on Chesapeake’s staff anymore. You’ve never been to 1 football practice at Chesapeake to know what they wear. I assure you they are wearing helmet, shoulder pads and girdles everyday but Thursday walk thru. Wearing football pants over the girdle does not dictate whether you hit or not. Chesapeake is so lackluster, they threw for 300+ yards against Rock Hill! Get outta here with your lies/hatred and go back to running your lackluster dairy bar.

What does the Peake have coming back next year? Appears they're losing some key pieces.

Is the youth league strong still? Ready for the Peake to get back to being more competitive in big games.

How are the Peake fans feeling about this staff?

The Peake needs to learn to tackle. If not mistaken I believe it is Knipp's last year on contract. Yes we need a change.

Peake71. 89% of your hundreds of post are on Chesapeake basketball so why not just keep it to what you know? Obviously, you don’t know football? You just want to be negative.
Teach tackling? So answer this? Why are some
Kids on this team knocking it out and tackling, Plantz’s being one. And others aren’t? Humm?? Is there more than to tackling than coaching .??
My thoughts.. if several kids are tackling well then they have been taught well so your argument that they don’t know how is ignorant . There are more factors to tackling that you don’t want to hear.

Coach Clark brought Coach Knipp onto his staff. While I had left the staff around that time, I did get to know Knipp. He knows his stuff. It's not about the xs and os but the Jimmy and Joe's in this case if I were to wager.
