A petition? Oh brother. When did a petition ever do anything, be a man and go talk to school board if you have that big of an issue.

That's typically the next step man, you get that petition of names because not all of those ppl are going to go to a school board meeting. You can take that with you to help your case, not sure why else you'd be doing just a petition if you weren't planning on addressing the board. PV has been talked about more because of their off the field issues than their actual season.

A petition is useless. Name one time anyone got anything accomplished with a petition.

Go stand up for your kid to people who can do something, a petition is the move of a coward.

It depends on what their plans are for the petition, petition isn't a coward move as long as your next step is to address things in person. Now if you're just doing a petition and handing it over to the board then yeah it's probably useless. Since none of us know the next step, or even what was put on the petition then guess just have to see it play out

Really, who would want to coach today?

PV has a real culture issue right now. Supposed to be league champs the last 2 years and crumble as the year goes on. No accountability with upperclassmen bullying and hazing freshman. I guess there are different standards when it’s your star players

I think the only folks who thought they would be league champs the last 2 years live in Bainbridge

Well, you've got me curious now because I have been seeing a lot of post this season in terms of coaching and transfers. So what happened after the game and with this petition??
They are wanting a change of leadership. The guy that had it had at least 3 full pages signed. Yes the transfer situation is part of it.

Better be careful. I doubt folks are lining up for a job where parents act the way they do in the valley.

Wait til they see the talent that is waiting in the wings and they’ll get a monster

Their might be a reason why they have had to bring in transfers to compete be ause the current kids arent that good

Paint valley is going to see a loss after this year. The adults in this community have caused more problems than most know. Good luck to the future of PV. But you have a lot to work on as a community and as a whole. Playoff game and half the stands are packed which is a problem. Then after the game the petition stuff. Embarrassing.

Paint valley has a huge parent problem. People trying to live vicariously through their kids and then go and embarrass themselves by acting like idiots. It’s a joke. They need to be worrying about how much longer does the school have to even be around with that community trying to keep people out. The school will have to merge in 10 years if they don’t figure it out.

I feel bad for whoever gets that job next if the current coach leaves or gets fired. Massive administration and parental problems. Kinda embarrassing.

While many are upset about the increasing number of transfers I think most are upset about the lack of control. There has been a major lack of discipline on and off the field the past couple seasons and a definite drop in numbers

The lack of numbers is in the school dude. But I’m sure that is Dyes fault too. Again delusional place that doesn’t understand. But I’m sure the “backup QBs” dad who which quit and a backup wrs dad (runs out with team) will tell you otherwise.

The only off field discipline I’ve heard of at pv was this year. I don’t believe there has been major issues ever in the past. As for the numbers on the team, that is a direct correlation to the numbers per class. The school has been dropping enrollment numbers for years but administration doesn’t want to do anything to correct the issue. Seems like this “tight knit valley community” doesn’t care about the school dying off and would rather just play a bunch of “legacy” kids.

I haven’t heard of any pv alumni wanting to be a part of the program either. Seems like everyone just wants to complain about the program, yet do nothing to help it.

Hopefully all these transfers everyone is upset about leave and “true” pv kids get their shot. Seems to be the answer! As the guy with petition said get dye out and get a “true” pv guy to be the head coach!! Pete Hollon left for a reason. Hire the petition guy let’s see what he can do. Prob doesn’t even know his right from left.

Tough times for a very proud program. Have seen the on field discipline issues when they have played ZT the past few years and been much scrutiny about off field issues too. Looking at online pictures from the playoff game last night it looked like a half empty stadium and that definitely isn’t Paint Valley. Last week it looked as though they may have dressed 30 kids which is an extremely low number for them.

You haven’t seen their stands for the past 5+ years then. It’s rarely over half full and that’s been when they’ve been really good too.
