Calpreps prediction site saying
Tri-Valley 28
Dover 26 it all depends on which Dover team shows up

I would probably have to go with Tri-Valley with the win over Dover in this second round matchup.

Drew Pasteur has Tri-Valley winning by 5.
You have to keep in mind that both of the computer (CalPreps and Fantastic50) statistical predictions know that Dover beat Granville 33-0 but have no idea the Granville starting QB was unable to play. I think it is skewing the spread. But we will know in 4 days if I am correct.

Re: Week 12: D3: R11 Dover at Tri-Valley (and TV playoff history)
Tri-Valley was all passes and scored on their first 3 drives on very few plays per drive.
TV 21-0 1st quarter with 4 minutes left.
Dover put a drive together and scored. Then after a TV punt drove again to score. 21-14
and the biggest moment of the game for Tri-Valley. Best defensive player was hurt badly. Possibly broken ribs.
The game was changed from there on out and Tri-Valley just tried to hang on.
28-14 at half.
28-21
35-21
35-28
35-34 (Dover player punched a TV player as they scored. Penalty on EP and kick was missed.
35-37 Dover kicked a 35 yard FG with 28 seconds left.
Tri-Valley had a couple fumbles. One definitely should have been whistled dead - no forward progress but Dover dug it out.
There were some important breaks that did not go Tri-Valley's way.

And some how you forget to mention that Dover is missing four starters out for the season on defense and offense

Re: Week 12: D3: R11 Dover at Tri-Valley (and TV playoff history)
buckcc,
Didn't know that when I posted last night. Tri-Valley lost their middle linebacker in week 5 (broken leg) against New Lex. He would have been great to have last night.
There is a difference between having players out and you know it and game plan around that versus having a major impact player get broken ribs in the first half and have to do the best to work around it.
Tri-Valley has played in 34 playoff games over the last 18 years. We have won many we should have won, won a few when we were likely not the better team, and lost a few when we were the better team. It's why the game is played on the field and not on paper or in the minds of guys posting on a message board.
Good luck to Dover in week 13.
