This might not be far off. This could be one of more intriguing matchups for sure. If memory serves CV had 10 seniors and in D7 that is pretty big. Conotton Valley is driven by their QB he’ll be the top QB they’ve faced all year long very athletic with a nice arm. They mainly go 5 WRs and throw it a ton. Seem to like the short throws as the OL is suspect at best but WRs pull in just about everything that gets near them. This is the deepest eastern has been in playoffs in school history no idea about CV.

Eastern is playing very well! As for their opponent, I am struggling to understand how they beat Trimble last week.

No need to make it personal, and my pride has nothing to do with my comment. It was hard to judge how good Eastern was based on watching their game last week. Looks like the eagles will be facing Danville next week, and it will be interesting to see how that game goes. The refuse to lose boys from Beaver came out with another victory. This game was definitely a tale of two halves though and hats off to both programs for fighting to the very end. Some great second half adjustments by CV turned the tables from a 21-0 deficit to a late 22-21 lead, but the Eagles once again passed the gut check and found their way into the end zone and successful two point conversion to retake and hold on for the victory. Survive and advance!
