And still have the same amount of State Championship trophies as Ironton. Lol
Hang those two running clocks in the case with em. Lmao

Only if Ironton hangs that accomplishment in their case next to their TWO

Still proud to be a Burg fan! Just making it to the regional championship is quite the accomplishment for this Burg team. Everyone knew that Ironton was the better team and they came out and played a great game no turnovers not very many penalties and I wish them good luck in their next game.

What does the IHS-WHS series stand at now exactly ? It must be getting embarrassing at this point. Imagine if the burg would have played us in all the 70s and the 80s...and if the Vass years didn't happen ? Yet, they are still arrogant...

Pendletons Tigers have dominated Woodards Pirates most recently.

I give Burg credit.
They played hard but they lost with class.
Great season Burg. You made it further than anyone thought.
I’m a Ironton fan but I salute you.
For a great season

We always look like a powerhouse until heading north. The winner of R17 vs R18 will be a big favorite, probably not on paper, but realistically to anyone who knows football.
No one thought ironton was the best in 2019 with Kirtland. D5 is basically Ironton and a big gap
We’ll see, if Ironton gets the W this coming week. One game at a time. The best Ironton can hope for is a South Range upset of Liberty Center. Ironton can probably stay in the game against South Range. Liberty Center is on a level of their own this year. They just destroyed a Milan Edison team 34-6 that would’ve hung 55 on Burg tonight. Just keep improving and leave it on the field.

There’s one ironton poster maybe two that ruin it for the others. My guess is they aren’t from ironton.. probably went to coal grove or rock hill because they always degrade the other local teams.

Go read topics on the Mac schools who have like 33 state championships from the conference. Consistently talking positive about each other and how they respect the game. The local fans around here will get on social media and blast other teams. cool to brag about your team but in our area we look foolish when we slam local teams.

Ironton has a special team. Yes they have transfers but they also have ironton kids that have been in the system since day one. Beating burg was probably inevitable tonight. Every burgfan knew it was going to take some breaks to upset em.

Wheelersburg plays hard and with class. Ironton just better this year. Most good teams have transfers and kids living in a different school district than they play at. It’s just where HS sports are ( except the MAC .. which is unbelievable). I see Liberty Center competitive balance # is 37 and Ironton only 23. Need to amp up those move ins Ironton … And of course check out those Harvest Prep numbers. SE Ohio are lightweights in transfer #’s

They way Burg conducts their business is levels above Prep and Portsmouth. It's not even the same ball park. Prep may have beat em on the scoreboard but that's it. Burg kids do their business the right way. Portsmouth is very disappointing.

If ya playing the odds strictly yup. No fun in that though.
