McNeil should be good to go as he will be back playing baseball for Valley this spring from people I’ve talked to. Haven’t heard whether or not Powell coming back out for football. Valley offense would be dynamic if so.*twoboys-02 wrote: Sun Feb 16, 2025 5:33 pm If McNeil is back to 100% and Powell plays valley will be much better than everyone thinks. Not saying they can beat burg but they will win a lot of games next year. Has anyone heard anything about McNeil

Re: 2025 SOC II
Valley looked much improved this past year in terms of athletic ability. I would say they will win quite a few games.
Re: 2025 SOC II
Look for Waverly to be improved with a much different look offensively. The offensive line should be improved. The Tigers will be looking for someone to take over the RB duties.
Word is the Tigers are getting back a key piece of the early season defensive success from last year - very instrumental in the Miami Trace win. It’s not a surprise the Tiger defense MUST to be able to stop the run.

Not sure how you say they will improve May be to big of a fan to make a comment like that. Rumor has it kids are looking to transfer out. You just can't loose everyone and expect to be good These new kids will have to adapt to playing varsity football and that will take time. We all know Waverly fans don't like to give kids time before they start talking about them on this site.
Greygoose got it right kids are looking to leave

greygoose wrote: Thu Dec 12, 2024 10:46 amBurg pretty obvious choice here, then I might follow that up with a Lucasville Valley/West should be a very interesting matchup. Northwest lost some horses and one of the top RBs I don't know that they have the staying power or not. Oak Hill while the record showed 1-9 I still feel they looked much more competitive as a whole. Minford could sneak out some wins here and there I don't look for much but heard there's a possibility a certain player comes back for his senior year possibly to play with his brother who's coming up. Waverly could be a mess, if rumors are true they've decided to keep the coaching staff the same which let's face it that's why they've got so few kids as they don't want to play for the OC, add that into Waverly losing 12 seniors or so including all of their skilled players, QB-RB-3-WRs, this team could be in for a 4 win season.CuckooNest wrote: Wed Dec 11, 2024 3:28 pm Well with 2024 in the books. What do we think of 2025 for the SOC II.
In no particular order…
-Wheelersburg, it’s their conference until someone beats them.
-West, played well, expect them to improve.
-Northwest, was 2024 the mountain top or do they have staying power to be consistent?
-Oak Hill, couldn’t get past Minford this year. Not sure what will fix their issues.
-Valley, up and coming in my opinion. May not challenge for championship this year but are trending that way again.
-Minford, tough year with a first time new HC. I like him and hear lots of good about him. I hope to see them take another step or two forward in 2025.
-Waverly, surprised they only beat OH and Minford in 2024. Not sure what 2025 holds for them.

Don't forget about the returning starters that are trying to transfer out
Re: 2025 SOC II
Why do they not like the oc? They run a balanced offense, haven’t seen any coaching issues on that side of the ball that I can remember.allaboutsports wrote: Thu Mar 13, 2025 10:46 pm Not sure how you say they will improve May be to big of a fan to make a comment like that.
