As many have said they wanted him to stay. He told the players months ago.

Personally I think the BOE member in question has some pretty good ideas. Maybe not popular but Marietta has been a mess for awhile and needed someone to set the record straight.

Athletically, Marietta has been increasingly better in recent years. But some of the athletic staff (AD, coaches) are being asked to leave or wanting to leave -- even coaches with excellent win-loss records. Started last spring with the HS principal position. It would be interesting to know what board member has "some pretty good ideas".

The AD is really good guy and seemed to be doing his job well at Marietta.

He got a new job months ago and was leaving Marietta the end of February.

With the Marietta AD leaving end of this week, I've re-read all the comments here and it doesn't appear anyone -- you or anyone else -- has told us one solitary "good idea" the board member in the middle of all of this has had. Waiting.
