Re: Turf Stadiums
Yes, it sure does. How many high schools have turf baseball fields in Ohio? Bet not very many around here.gametime wrote:

Re: Turf Stadiums
Logan would look awesome if they did paint the end zones though. It's a great field. Some more color would look great.

WOW! How did rock hill fund both football and baseball? That's awesome.gametime wrote:

I read new lex is getting all new bleachers and press box. Already an awesome stadium and setting, this will be huge for them.

Yep, me too, solid bright purple end zones with white letters would be choice. Some color on the sidelines. Won't have to paint it when they replace it, turf comes permanently colored. Chieftain head would be cool at the fifty with different shades of green every 5 yards.Falcon01 wrote:Logan would look awesome if they did paint the end zones though. It's a great field. Attended many games at New Lex, always did like how the field sets down in there. Yep, it will look good with all new bleachers.Falcon01 wrote:I read new lex is getting all new bleachers and press box. Already an awesome stadium and setting, this will be huge for them.
Re: Turf Stadiums
Back in my day, loved to play on grass mud rain and snow, but times are changing love these turf fields , and really not heard about injuries like everyone thought.
You can't handle the truth

Nelsonville York and Philo, very cool looking fields. Lots of color. NY also has really nice orange fence toppers for leaning the elbows on while standing watching the game. Very cool and easy on the elbows and a nice looking trim touch in orange.

I realize this and understand it, but this is high school sports... not the nfl. Help your other teams out and go support them..Orange and Brown wrote:Football pays the bills so yea, it's a football field.......Falcon01 wrote:No on the helmet.. as its not a "football" field, and no on lightening the soccer lines. Re: Turf Stadiums
Are there any schools that don't have turf that are discussing it as an option or out trying to raise money?

As do most of the folks in Hocking county do for the Chieftains in all sports.

Re: Turf Stadiums
New turf fields use black soccer lines. It would look stupid to have a giant football helmet on a field that is used for football, soccer, band, and track. Big reason for turf is for schools that use it a lot. If it's just for football, Everyone would have grass
Re: Turf Stadiums
well soccer loves the turf. Because when it is just grass, some football coaches will want the grass high... and thats terrible for soccer.Raider6309 wrote:New turf fields use black soccer lines. But I agree, a helmet makes no sense. that was my only point. everyone uses the field, and it shouldn't have a football helmet in the middle.
Saying football brings in all the money is stupid, because of course it does. Doesn't mean it should matter more when it comes to what goes on a field.. that's just ignorant.
