Re: Pioneer Valley Conf 2016
Saw the paper today had an article on Frontier. Star RB Heddelson transferred to Caldwell. Though RB Calvin Valentine looked huge in the picture for the Cougars. Looks like JR Toby Minder will be QB for Frontier.
Re: Pioneer Valley Conf 2016
Hearing Heddleson will have to sit the first five games. The new OHSAA rules are pretty hard to pull one over on. I am hereing a Caldwell opponent has an appeal to send to the ohsaa if Caldwell doesn't make him set out.

Didn't they have a basketball player move in last year too and never sat any games. We heard that he has been there since last spring though. Send him down here to good old Marietta, we will take him for five games!!!!

Yes the basketball transfer was shadey I would love to argue that with someone who says it aint. I am hearing this wasn't a transfer but a move and the kid had no choice . I think this one is legit.

Who is Heddleson? Is he any good? I know frontier was pretty bad last year. Could be a big help to Ivey in the backfield if so

Rockys cousin. Rocky would have been a great dual threat Qb at Shenandoah.

Re: Pioneer Valley Conf 2016
I asked one of the football players about him tonight at the firemans festival. They said he's a freak in the weight room but the coaches told them he has to sit out the first five games because he didn't move in to the Caldwell district that he open enrolled from the Shenandoah district. Sucks for the kid from the sounds of it. The OHSAA sucks. On another note the football players seem to like Gaydos and the things he's having them do.

Hopefully he makes a difference. I asked a few people about him this morning, they said he moved to Caldwell with one parent last winter and enrolled then something happened and he had to move in with his dad and is now open enrolled or he would have been eligible for all ten games. Sounds like a bad situation for the kid

Football is in the air 2 a days next week. This is the last weekend of the year without football.

Good luck to all the players going out there for doubles next week! Hope everyone makes it through injury free!

Not to be a Debby Downer because I think Fort Frye will be good. But any coach will tell ya 7 on 7 is nothing like a real game. QBs can't pull the ball and run and kids get to sit in the pocket without a rush. I think it develops bad habits.
