I don't even know how to respond to that. I assume you have to mean Fort Frye. Are you really that confident in them?pvcguy wrote:I predict a state title in the pvc this year

Cadets just need to focus and prepare to get to the playoffs. I do think they have a chance to best Fort team ever and get a playoff win.

Re: Pioneer Valley Conf 2016
Someone told me that the Heddleson kid mentioned here is no longer on Caldwell's team. Is that true?

Yes, either team is capable of getting out of their region if they are hitting on all cylinders come playoff time. State semis and finals are a different animal. They would meet the same fate as nearly every other team from this part of the state has in the last 30 years. Bottom dwellers from the MAC would crush any PVC team nearly every year. I would love to see a state title from this part of the state, but it isn't happening anytime soon.

I don't think that guy is even a fan of a certain PVC school. Every team in the league should be taking it one day at a time.

Re: Pioneer Valley Conf 2016
The odds of winning a state title are extremely small for anyone. Making the playoffs is a good accomplishment and advancing is a great one. Fort should have a solid chance to do both depending on match ups. Caldwell, Trail, Shenandoah and Monroe all could be in the mix for a playoff spot if things go their way. One of the Caldwell football kids told me the heddleson kid being talked about on here is now going to Shenandoah

Re: Pioneer Valley Conf 2016
In all seriousness Fort Frye has the only realistic chance to win a playoff game but with the region they are in it will be tough. No other PVC chance has a very good chance of advancing in the playoffs even if they make it in, which is unlikely as well. After cramming the numbers, here is what the percentages say: the first % is chances of making the playoffs, the second % is winning 1st game, and so on...
Fort Frye- 87.2% -- 53.6% -- 16.2% -- 1.8%
Caldwell- 31.7% -- 22.9% -- 4.4% -- 0.002%
Buckeye Trail- 23.7% -- 18.4% -- 4.1% -- 0.002%
Shenandoah- 16.1% -- 8.9% -- 2.2% -- 0.002%
Monroe Central- 7.7% -- 3.9% -- 1.1% -- 0
Frontier- .79% -- .08% -- 0 -- 0
Fort Frye- 87.2% -- 53.6% -- 16.2% -- 1.8%
Caldwell- 31.7% -- 22.9% -- 4.4% -- 0.002%
Buckeye Trail- 23.7% -- 18.4% -- 4.1% -- 0.002%
Shenandoah- 16.1% -- 8.9% -- 2.2% -- 0.002%
Monroe Central- 7.7% -- 3.9% -- 1.1% -- 0
Frontier- .79% -- .08% -- 0 -- 0
