I think the kid is a legitimate football player. I believe he's better on defense than offense. Does that translate to the automatic great season? That answer is no. The game has three parts. Offense, defense, and special teams. Burg has the advantage on two of them.

Me either but this is just a kid and honestly he's getting a pretty raw deal on here by both sides. If he winds up ineligible, I'd be ticked about it if I was him.

He was only given garbage time to play last season as he was a late transfer into the school district and the coaches didn't know what he was capable of. He played mostly defense as he wasn't there early and didn't learn the play book. I believe Ironton will be just fine. This kid will be a good help as some others have mentioned. It is always nice to have a back with breakaway speed. He definitely has that and everyone will know what he has within the first couple plays.

The sad part is, people are talking about a kid, posting stats, etc. He is a kid. A kid doesn't deserve added pressure from some loud mouth. It is not his fault. The kid is not on here talking trash. But unfortunately, he is going to be under an unfair microscope with expectations that Clark Kent would have a hard time living up to. Let's all hope the kid does well and cut him a break and take this for what it really is. One stupid fan. That doesn't seem to have a clue what he is talking about. That we won't have to hear from after 11:00pm tonight because he will go radio silent like he always does after shooting off his big mouth.
