Yeah, from the ground level (since it was on that trailer), it might have been dangerous for eardrums. We rolled it in to the scoreboard end of our stadium and we've heard from folks in the neighborhoods it was aimed toward that they could hear it very, very well. They heard it over at the middle school up over the hill, too.

Obviously, the system at Logan's new stadium, and if we put one in, would be elevated. We might put it in the opposite end of the stadium, aimed away from those homes, so we don't break any china. But they might be able to hear it over at West M. :-D

The clarity was what I loved. Amazing that such a rather "small" unit can cover so much area so effectively. We may have it at Sulsberger if we host a playoff game in a couple weeks.

Of course, being the PA guy, I do have those ulterior motives! Now I've got to find a way to raise the $32K it's going to take to purchase one!!!

Yeah, I was on the Ironton system last week at halftime and it sounded darn good for the "old-style" cone speakers. But this thing has four woofers and I can't remember what else with 120-degree coverage. The clarity is amazing.

it was good to see the i-town fans filling the stands. i don't think i've seen that many visiting fans at logan in a few years. looking foward to seeing you all at the new field next year.

good luck to all in the post season.
drive hard and deep into the playoffs.

You just couldn't beat the crowds at the Nelsonville-York vs. Logan games, whether they were played at Boston Field or the Hilltop.

The good ole days,
Ironton would ry they played for state titles and not league titles. Logan would ask them what they've done "this" century and Ironton fans would spend pages talking about 1970 something.........
Fun times!
